Student parking is at the rear of the building. About the School Western Canada High School has a long tradition of excellence, dating back to the school's beginning in 1903. From that time there have been a number of major renovations, with the last one in 1982. There are over 70 classrooms in the school, including a number of computer labs, 2 gymnasia, a theatre, and technical areas. Major upgrades have occurred many times in the recent past, including the creation of new computer labs, a modern library with computer facilities for research. About School Name Western Canada High School's name was taken from the Western Canada College, which stood on this land from the early 1900's until the land was sold to the Calgary Board of Education in 1928. Western Canada College was a private boys college serving Calgary and Southern Alberta.
