Part A: The Proposal Title of the Springbank’s Annual Tailgate Event/Action: Details of the This event is a BBQ that leadership has held for the students of Event/Action: Springbank Community High School. There will be food, live music, and of course football. We will need enough food, drinks, and snacks for everyone to enjoy. And we will ask students to preform at the event as well. Today’s Date: September 24th 2014 Sponsored By: Springbank Community High School Leadership Description of the Activity: This event is a BBQ that leadership has held for the students of Springbank Community High School to enjoy some football, food, and the walk-a-thon. Along with students, staff, and anyone participating in the WalkA-Thon. What? This is a fun relaxed BBQ event created to have a nice time, listen to music, hang out with friend and watch our peers play football Where? This event will be held on school grounds. More specifically in the back of the school. The food will be cooked on the pad and the football game will be held on the football team. Get an estimation of the number of people who will be there III. Buy the food IV. keep all bill together for submission V. organize volunteers for cleaning up, setting up, and serving food VI. The people who actually showed up were fabulous but a lot of people did not come to help for the parts they signed up for. Over all the volunteers, parents and student, who were there were very helpful. Part C: The Debriefing Title of Event/Action: Tailgate Date of Event/Action: Ultimate Success? I believe it was a success because everyone had fun and we had a great amount of student,teacher, and parent support. Synopsis/Reflection of the Event/Action: What went well? (Rear View We had plenty of food for everyone which was great. The amount of Mirror) people attending was low which was kind of sad but okay. Everyone who was there had a lot of fun and that is all we care about. What didn’t go so well? (Rear View Mirror) We were fairly disorganized. The parent volunteers were very difficult at times and we had low numbers of people showing up. Where to from here? From here the majority of our team for tailgate will be graduating.
