SCHS Leadership Major Project
Consider:
● What is your goal?
○
Who’s on your team?
● When will this event/action occur?
○
Ask yourself: When do you want this to begin and end? How does it fit in the school’s
calendar of events? When should you start telling people about your project/event?
● Where will you hold your event?
○
Ask yourself: Is this a school activity or a community event? Where is your
‘headquarters’ for your team so everyone stays in the loop?

Comments
Our list of people who offered to help is on a separate sheet. The
people who actually showed up were fabulous but a lot of people did not
come to help for the parts they signed up for. Over all the volunteers,
parents and student, who were there were very helpful.

Ultimate Success?
I believe it was a success because everyone had fun and we had a great
amount of student, teacher, and parent support.
Synopsis/Reflection of the Event/Action:
What went well? (Rear View We had plenty of food for everyone which was great. The amount of

people attending was low which was kind of sad but okay. Everyone who
was there had a lot of fun and that is all we care about.
What didn’t go so well?
(Rear View Mirror)
We were fairly disorganized. The parent volunteers were very difficult
at times and we had low numbers of people showing up.
Where to from here?
From here the majority of our team for tailgate will be graduating. So
