Week of 3/31/14
Happy Monday 

Thank you again to all parents who chaperoned last week’s field trip. Everything ran smoothly and we had a
lot of fun!

Thanks to all parents who were able to attend today’s Talent Show. The class had a blast and really enjoyed
performing in front of an audience 

Case 21 tests will be taken tomorrow and Wednesday of this week.

Data binders will be sent home on Friday for the end of March. Can’t believe it’s April already!! Take the
weekend to look it over with your child, sign the back, and return on Monday. Thanks!

Specials are on a 6-day rotation with track 4 out! Check schedule below. The full yearly schedule is still on our

We Will Be Learning:
CAFÉ: We will review quarter 3 objectives for the 3rd
quarter benchmark test. On Wednesday, we’ll begin
our EOG prep.
Language: We will work on lesson 15 in Wordly Wise
this week. We will be spending only 1 week on each
lesson from now on. The test will be this Friday, 4/4.
Writer’s Workshop: We will publish an opinion piece.
Social Studies: Our class will be learning about NC
Culture and Geography. We will not be switching
classes for quarter 4. The test will be Thursday, 4/17.
Math: We will review quarter 3 objectives for the 3rd
quarter benchmark test. On Wednesday, we’ll begin
decimals & EOG prep.
