Stream 2 - Individual Instruments
Use this expression of interest form if you are a highly skilled performing artist seeking to buy a highvalue musical instrument.
Please complete this form once you have read the Music Capital Scheme Guidelines 2015. If you

Please note: information provided in this application will form part of Music Network’s research into
the area of music capital supports. Individual responses to questions will not be disclosed, but
composite information will be used to analyse what future supports are necessary. A full response to
each question will aid this process.

6.1) In support of the Arts-in-Education Charter, The Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht

confirmation from the school(s) referenced in your plan with your submitted support material.*

Section 07: Feedback (Optional)
7.1) Use this part of the form to offer feedback to The Department of Arts, Heritage and the
Gaeltacht and Music Network about support for the purchase of music instruments for highly skilled
performing artists. Are there ways in which the current scheme should be modified? Are there
additional supports necessary? Are there ways in which the process could be improved? Is the
scheme necessary on an ongoing basis? Did you receive enough information, support/advice in the
completion of the application form? Did you attend an advice clinic and, if so, did you find the clinic
useful? Would you like to suggest changes to future guidelines or application forms? Did you find the
