Letters of Recommendation
August 21, 2008
To Whom It May Concern:
I recently worked as a Line Producer on the film, “Extremely Used Cars: There Is No
Hope,” directed by Craig Richards. My husband, Jack French, worked on the project as
well; primarily as a Production Accountant but served in various other capacities, as did
many of us on this feature film.
Both Jack and I had an opportunity to work closely with and observe Craig Richards’ work
as a director. His professionalism and industry knowledge helped guide cast and crew
through a difficult two-week shoot, ultimately ending up with a product of which we are
proud. He kept everyone focused and on track with his calm demeanor on the set.
Craig took over directing the film on very short notice and was able, through diligence and
hard work, to pull all the elements together successfully. Long hours and stressful
situations were managed with skill and diplomacy. He is a talented director and should be
able to add to his career as an actor continued success in a directorial capacity. I’m happy
to recommend him without reservation.
Sincerely
Patricia French

To whom this may concern regarding Mr. Craig Richards:
I have known Craig Richards for a little more than one year going back to July 2007. As a
fellow co-founder of Film Oregon Alliance (FOA), I know him to possess many outstanding
qualities.
Craig has demonstrated his high level of intellect, creativity, passion and work ethic as an
entrepreneur, a fellow officer and board member of FOA, and as an actor/director. As an
entrepreneur he developed the family-based web community FamilyReunion.com and
offers creative design services to a variety of clients.
He is currently serving as FOA’s first president and, among other things, he is responsible
for the development and management of the FOA website FilmOregon.org as well as
serving on the Public Relations/Marketing Committee.
As an actor/director, Craig has had success in film, television and theatre. I have personally
observed Craig while directing and I have great deal of respect and admiration for his ability
to work with a variety of personalities with patience and leadership. He is a person who
gives 110% and is able to motivate and guide actors, crew and others to obtain the desired
results.
In my experience with Craig, without hesitation, I can say that he is a creative, talented, and
principled individual and I give him my highest recommendation.
Sincerely,
