PERSONALITY TOP TEN POSTER ASSIGNMENT
Using a piece of poster paper provided in class, make a collage representing YOU. You may use
magazine pictures, photographs, words, letters, activity programs, a written song (must be
appropriate) ticket stubs, poems, etc. Refer to class notes for ideas.
Learning Goal: To develop a better understanding of your personality and how it was formed. By
understanding yourself, you will be able to better relate to those around you.
STEP ONE – Day Three
Write your first name clearly on the front of the poster.
STEP TWO- Day Three
Think about the words that listed yesterday and other words that describe your personality. Look
through magazines to find pictures of (or draw) ten images that represent words that describe your
personality (behavioral and emotional traits that describe an individual).
STEP THREE – Day Four
Think about all of the personality traits you have as a result of your environment. What behaviors
and emotions do you possess because you learned them through your family/social/neighborhood
/religion environment? Select the images on your poster that describe a behavior that you learned
through your environment and label them “environment.” Each image should have a one sentence
explanation discussing how this trait was learned (where/how was this trait acquired, etc).
Think about all of the personality traits you have inherited. What do you have in common with
your ancestors? Select the images on your poster that describe a behavior that you inherited and
label them “inherited.” Each image should have a one sentence explanation discussing how this trait
is inherited (who the trait came from, etc).
STEP Four – Days Three and Four
Make sure that your poster is:
* Interesting and Creative
