The present tense and the subjunctive (mood) We can call it a tense it’s ok. They are combined with a “que” or in English,, “that” I’m saving my voice for the end when it gets really complex!!!! The present subjunctive is exactly what it says, it is two tenses combined with a “that” or “que” in Spanish. For example: I hope that she dances. I hope is present tense That = que She dances = subjunctive or opposite endings There are a few verbs (3) that you really need to know how to conjugate in the present tense: Querer, necesitar, and esperar.
