OF CULTURE TEST BY REVIEWING WITH THEIR GROUP OF 4.
ALTHOUGH THEY WILL TAKE THE TEST AS A PAIR THE GROUP
WILL TAKE THE SAME TEST AND THUS CAN STUDY ALL
TOGETHER. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A GROUP OF 5 THERE
WILL HAVE TO BE A VOLUNTEER TO TAKE THE TEST ALONE
AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANSWERING 25 OF THE 50.
GROUPS # 1 & 2 WILL TEST THE FIRST LISTED 50 ITEMS.
THE OTHERS WILL TEST THE ITEMS 51-100. NEXT TEST THEY WILL BE
REVERSED AND THUS COVER ALL 100. YOU MUST TEST WITH SAME
PARTNER OR ALONE ON 2ND TEST.
STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT ON TASK AND PARTICIPATING IN THE
GROUP REVIEW WILL BE ASKED TO SEPARATE FROM THE GROUP AND
TO WORK ALONE. THIS IS NOT VISITING AND TAKE IT EASY TIME!

USE TO WRITE THEIR ANSWERS ON. EACH IS TO WRITE NAME, DATE, PERIOD AT
TOP OF THE FIRST PAGE. ANSWERS ARE TO BE CAPITAL LETTERS.
THE SPANISH BOOKS ON EACH DESK MAY BE USED AS A RESOURCE. NO OTHER
BOOKS MAY BE USED.
IN PERIOD 7 JACKIE AND SHANTEL WILL TAKE THE SPANISH 3 TEST.
PERIOD 7 SPANISH 4 WILL USE THE GREEN SPANISH VERB TENSES BOOK ON

TIME. IF STUDENT IS NOT TAKING TEST THEN HE/SHE CAN BE QUIETLY STUDYING THEIR CULTURE INFO OR FINISHING UP THEIR HWK.
AT END OF THAT TIME TESTS ARE COLLECTED.
A NUMBERED VALENTINE VOC AND POETRY/SONGS PACKET IS TO BE PASSED
OUT TO EACH STUDENT ACCORDING TO THEIR ROLL NUMBER.
CHECK THE NUMBERS WITH THE PICTURES. EACH STUDENT IS IDENTIFIED BY
HIS NUMBER. PACKETS ARE TO BE USED IN CLASS BUT NOT TAKEN HOME!
IF STUDENTS WANT OR NEED THE INFO THEY CAN DOWNLOAD AND PRINT IT

IN THE CULTURE GROUPS IN WHICH THEY ARE TO BE SEATED—THEY ARE TO GO
OVER THE VOCAB LIST AND THE POETRY/SONGS TO SEE WHAT IS THERE AND
READ FOR COMPREHENSION. STUDENTS ARE TO PICK POETRY OR SONG THAT
THEY WILL READ ALOUD (ALONE) OR SING IN THEIR GROUP. PRACTICE IN CLASS.
ALSO—SELECT 12 OF THE VOC SENTENCES THAT YOU WOULD USE TO PUT ON A
VALENTINE CARD THAT YOU WOULD MAKE FOR/GIVE TO SOMEONE (FRIEND,
SWEETIE, RELATIVE, CLASSMATE, ACQUAINTANCE, ETC.)
WRITE THEM DOWN IN YOUR HWK LOG FOR TODAY.
TOMORROW YOU WILL AGAIN USE THIS PACKET TO DO ANOTHER

AS THEY DID YESTERDAY THE STUDENTS WILL USE THE CLASS SET OF VALENTINE VOC,POETRY,
MUSIC DITTOS THAT IS NUMBERED THE SAME AS THEIR ALPHA ROLL LIST NUMBER –NO
MATTER WHERE SEATED. THIS PACKET IS NOT TO BE TAKEN FROM CLASS. TEACHER WILL
COLLECT AT END OF PERIOD.
WRITE 5 SENTENCES THAT ARE VALENTINE DAY WORTHY TO BE ADDED TO THE DITTO LIST OF
75 THAT YOU ARE TO LEARN. DO NOT WRITE THEM ON THE DITTO! DIVIDE THE SENTENCES
AMONGST YOU IN ORDER TO TAKE A VOCAB TEST ON IT AS A GROUP. EACH STUDENT MUST
TAKE 20 TO LEARN.
GROUPS THAT HAVE 5 MEMBERS MUST SELECT I MEMBER TO TAKE THE TEST ALONE AND BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR 20 ON HIS/HER OWN OR THE GROUP MUST ADD 25 NEW SENTENCES IN
ORDER TO HAVE 20 PER MEMBER AND THEN TAKE A GROUP TEST.
THAT TEST FORMAT WILL BE THE SAME AS THE CULTURE TEST YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING. TURN
IN A COPY OF YOUR FIVE SENTENCES ON 1 PAPER WITH ALL GROUP NAMES ON IT ALONG WITH
DATE PERIOD, ETC. TODAY (FRIDAY). GROUPS OF 5 MUST TURN IN PAPER WITH THEIR DECISION
AND ADDITIONAL SENTENCES.
AFTER READING ALL PAGES FOR COMPREHENSION IN YOUR CULTURE GROUP YOU ARE TO
WRITE A GROUP SKIT THAT USES SENTENCES OR EXPRESSIONS FROM THOSE PAGES.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A COPY OF THE SCRIPT THAT YOU WRITE. YOUR SKIT SHOULD LAST A
MINIMUM OF 3 MINUTES TO A MAXIMUM OF 5 MINUTES. IT WILL BE PRESENTED AS A RADIO
PLAY—WHICH MAY BE LIVE OR TAPED.
WORK ON IT IN CLASS. READ THROUGH IT AS PRACTICE. TAKE IT HOME TO PRACTICE.
BE SURE TO BRING COPY OF YOUR GROUP SKIT TO CLASS ON MONDAY, 14TH.

CASE THEY WANT TO READ IT AFTER YOU HAVE TOLD THEM WHAT THEY ARE TO

STUDENTS ARE TO SIT WITH THEIR CULTURE TEAMMATES. THAT IS HOW THE
PICTURES WERE TAKEN. THEY ARE IDENTIFIED BY NUMBER ON THE PICTURE.
THESE NUMBERS CORRESPOND TO THEIR CLASS ROLL NUMBERS. THIS NUMBER
IS WHAT TEXT-SET—DITTO, ETC. THEY ARE TO USE IN CLASS. THIS IS AN EASY
WAY TO CHECK THAT YOU HAVE EVERYTHING BACK AND IF SOMETHING IS
MISSING THEN YOU KNOW WHO HAS IT.
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OVER MY GENERAL CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT INFO I
HAVE ALSO LEFT FOR YOU. THE STUDENTS ARE GENERALLY VERY WELL BEHAVED.
THEY KNOW MY ROUTINE AND THE CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING RULES.
PLEASE BE SURE NOT TO ALLOW ELECTRONICS AND MORE THAN 1 OUT ON A
PASS AT A TIME.
PLEASE PLEASE WRITE ME A DETAILED REPORT SO THAT I WILL KNOW WHO
SHOULD BE REWARDED FOR BEING COOPERATIVE AND ON TASK. THOSE WHO
ARE NOT NEED TO BE NAMED ON THE REPORT AND ISOLATED TO DO THEIR
WORK ALONE SO THAT THE OTHERS CAN WORK.
