They are using the closet for the play. From last summer's fundraiser in Waretown, we are finally expecting a check to be sent from them. For next year's trip, we contacted H S South's travel company. We are looking into the Cherry Blossom Parade….auditioned video…national parade…in DC. They could spend a day in DC and then in neighboring areas. The date would be April 12, 2014. We are reviewing what the previous costs of prior trip were. Want to keep the travel costs similar. Mr. Burbank's mom's passed away. Dervishe is collecting money from the band students. We may collect money from the parents to donate. Seaside St Patty's Day Parade is March 9 is on for St Patty's Day. June 8 is the Wildwood parade. This would bring in $1300 but it is the same day as the banquet on June 8. Banquet may be pushed back. Need to check the reservation for the cafeteria. We are looking to see if we have time for the DJ. We will have more information soon. Senior trip may be sometime in May on a weekend. We are looking to bring them to see Stomp. We may be able to get discounted seating or can check for a group rate. We can get a party bus or something smaller. Combine transportation with the cost of the trip. By using thermometer money, they may be able to pay for it. But it would only benefit the seniors. Thermometer fund $2620.41. We can divide it by the number of kids in the band and use the senior's part for the transportation. We will use the $100 from the fund first for the DJ. Need a roster of the kids and the number of seniors to figure out the amount. Ms Sanford will get the info for Peggy. Use senior liaisons to get prices of for transportation: Joan Beckett and Sue Gomez. Ms Sanford is going to check on the seniors that dropped out of the program to see if they can still attend. We will take them to Dave and Busters or Bubba Gump or somewhere to eat dinner. We can get a package from Dave and Busters or IPLAY America in Freehold. Adrienne can come up with fundraisers just for the seniors for their trip; Hershey candy fundraiser. Students are making $30 per box of candy. Possible senior fundraiser (or for all?) at the gourmet candy store in March. Students can use money in their accounts to help pay for the trip. Karen will put together a list of the senior's balances in their accounts. Fundraising: Comedy show with Paul Venier. It will be $1200 for him and his co act. He brings his own PA system and lighting. He also plays music the hour before. We can pay the night of the event. He will give us posters. He has his own website to advertise. The possible dates for the comedy show are Saturday April 6, April 27, Friday April 12, 19, 26. We will charge $20 a person in advance at $25 at the door. We can also do a 50/50. Denise will check the maximum capacity at the Bingo hall. We will try the 3 Fridays first. Ford drive is Saturday May 4, 2013 @ 9-4. Indoor guard: 2/16 competition…who is supervising? Mark or Jessica will work out who will be attending since Stephanie Mullen cannot.. Indoor percussion: Paid $50 membership. The checks shouldn't be made out to Joe. It has to be made out to TRHSE. Peggy did not get money from Joe yet. The letter that was sent out is very vague. Parents want a clear understanding on where the money is going. It involves all three high schools, but there is less involvement from the other schools. We can get an account made from the school to put the money in. Parents should attend a practice to meet with Joe and discuss in detail. Denise Middleton will be an alternate for recording secretary when Tina can not attend. Need to fill out Executive Board nominees by next month. Fill out by next meeting Adjourned at 7:37 pm Next Executive Board Meeting: Tuesday, March 5, 2013 6:15 PM
