Good evening everyone and welcome to the Know Your Rights show streaming
live on the internet on RAT FM. Our show is now proudly sponsored by
WebGate IT Solutions - stretching your IT dollar further. If you are looking for
any IT experts please contact the guys at www.webgate.net.au
My name is Mike and I'm joined again this week by Brenton.
(Introduce Brenton - they say Hi)
As I explain at the start of every show, I have been working with the guys at
Aussie Speeding Fines for a number of years now, promoting the excellent
work that they do informing and educating the motoring public about their
rights. And, in conjunction with a number of different groups, we have now
formed the new Know Your Rights group and we are committed to finding new
ways to wake people up to the truth in regards to what is really going on in the
world. We would especially like to thank John, who runs RAT FM for this great
opportunity to do these broadcasts over his new digital radio network.
This is now our 24th official broadcast and our first show back for 2015. We
would like to welcome any new listeners to the show and extend a very warm
welcome back all our regular listeners as well.
For those of you who are new to our show and our website, you will find a copy
of all of our previous broadcasts on our Radio Show page –
http://www.knowyourrightsgroup.com.au/radio-show/ - and you can access
those podcasts completely free of charge.
Those podcasts include a wide range of topics and interviews and cover things
like: unjust and unlawful traffic fines, the ultimate banking fraud, why personal
tax is voluntary and the fact that the ATO is not a legal entity and the
importance of the Commonwealth Constitution. So there's lots of great
information up on-line now for all listeners – new and old alike - to refer to in
case you have missed anything or want a refresh on a topic we have previously
covered.
Brenton asks - "So Mike, just remind our listeners again what the purpose
of these broadcasts is all about".
2
As always, the point of these broadcasts is to inform and educate people about
the truth and about their rights. It still amazes and concerns me how many
people are still brainwashed by the government propaganda about things like
speeding fines - "Speed Kills" and "Every K over is a killer", people who still
don't see that 9/11 was an inside job or understand the fraud that is perpetrated
by the banking elite every day.
And, once people do get their head around some of those basic truths, we want
to give people strategies and techniques for taking action against these injustices
and helping to set things right again.
So, in order to achieve that outcome, we will be doing these broadcasts every
week on Tuesday night between 8 and 10pm and we would love to receive
listener's feedback and any questions they may have or suggestions for topics
they would like us to cover via e-mail at knowyourrights@ratfm.com or feel
free to sms us at 0412 711 755 or call us on (03) 9017 5093.
I must make note at this point that nothing discussed during this broadcast or
any future broadcasts is in any way deemed to be or is to be taken as legal or
financial advice - we are neither lawyers nor financial planners - and everything
covered is to considered as educational and entertainment content only.
So, there has obviously been a lot going on since our last show went to air in
December last year and 2015 is going to be a very big year, for a number of
different reasons, and we have a lot of info to cover. Before I officially start this
week’s show, I want to give everyone a quick overview of what we are going to
cover because there is so much important info and we don’t want anyone to
miss out.
First off, and I want to discuss some of the things that we have planned for this
year, some of the events that Brenton and I will be having this year, as well as
the future of the Know Your Rights group, these broadcasts and what we need
from people out there if these shows, and the group as a whole, is going to
continue and grow this year, as we would obviously like it to.
Secondly, we have a number of very important media articles that came across
my desk over the course of the past month that I want to discuss in greater detail
because I believe that they are relevant to most of our listeners. We have also
locked in the venue for our Brisbane seminar which is happening in less than 2
week’s time – on the 31st of January – so we’ll be talking a bit more about that a
little later in the show as well.
3
And, finally, after all that, if we still have some time, we will be reverting back
to our previous show format and answering a whole heap of questions that
people have posted to our various Facebook groups and I know Brenton has
been busy over the past month collecting all of those and putting them all
together so we will slowly but surely be making our way through those over the
course of the next few weeks.
So, to begin with, as I just mentioned, I want to start by covering some of the
changes that will be happing this year and this first of those is in regards to our
weekly podcasts. Last year, we uploaded the edited podcasts – with all the
songs taken out – along with a copy of our actual show notes – to our Members
area within a day or so of the show going to air and then, a few days later, we
uploaded the free version of the podcast to our Radio Show page.
Unfortunately, as a result, we found that the number of live listeners to our
shows dropped off significantly, as it seemed like people were just waiting to
download the podcasts to listen to them in their own time. Now, we certainly
acknowledge that we had a number of technical issues with the show during the
course of last year – internet dropouts, people not being able to log in live, the
on-going issues with the phone system and the like.
The good news is that all of those issues have now been fixed and there should
be nothing stopping people from listening in live this year. Also, as we have
explained before, RAT FM stands for Rock and Talkback and, this year, we
want to have a lot more interaction with our listeners and really bring the show
to life and that obviously can’t be done if people are just waiting for the
podcasts to come out and listening to the show after the fact.
The podcasts are a great way to catch up on any info that you may have missed
or that we may have covered too quickly but there is simply no substitute for
listening in live so, we will now be uploading the free podcasts a week or two
after the show to encourage people to listen in live and to really participate in
the show.
We will, of course, still be uploading the edited podcasts to our Members area
straight away so for those who enjoy accessing our shows in the shortest
possible time, with the added benefit of no music interruptions and having
access to printed copies of our notes as well, that will still be available through
the Members page.
We are also looking forward to making full use of our phone system this year
and interviewing a number of people from around the country and, hopefully,
even overseas.
4
This will really help us tap into the wealth of information that is out there in
regards to helping people know and understand their rights and this will give a
lot of our listeners access to information that they otherwise would have found
very difficult to come by.
It’s also another reason why listening in live each week is going to be so crucial
this year, because we will open up the phones to give our listeners a chance to
ask questions from our guest speakers as well, and that, again, simply won’t be
possible if you only listen into the podcasts after the fact.
Now, I also mentioned just before that it’s going to be a very big year and both
Brenton and I have some pretty major life events happening this year. For those
of you who don’t yet know, Brenton is getting married later in the year and my
partner and I are having another baby so it’s going to be a big year for both of
us.
That also means that we are both going to be under a lot of pressure this year
because both weddings and babies cost a significant amount of money, require a
lot of time, effort and energy to prepare for and there are going to be a lot of
additional demands on both of us. Now, we are both committed to running these
shows each week and helping spread the word and expose people to the truth,
but, we can only invest the time, effort, energy and money required to do that,
if it is worth our while to do so.
So, that means that we need to know that people are actually listening in each
week, giving us feedback and working with us to build and grow the Know
Your Rights group. We started the group from basically nothing just on 6
months ago and, as I said earlier, this is now our 24th broadcast, we have already
run our first official seminar and we have two more booked in – which we’ll
talk about in greater detail a little later – and we also have around 3,200
Facebook group members which is all very exciting.
But, this year, we really need to take that to the next level and we need to know
that the efforts that we are putting in each and every week to bring you these
live broadcasts are being recognised and appreciated. And that people are
actually using the information that we are giving them to bring about some real
change because, that is obviously our ultimate goal.
I’m sure I have discussed before about the concept that knowledge is power but,
in fact, that is not actually correct, knowledge put into action is power and that’s
what we need to get people to do this year. We’re happy to do the work and
provide the knowledge and information but we need people to actually take
action and put that knowledge and information to good use.
5
And, whilst we don’t like mentioning it, the reality is that preparing and running
these weekly shows costs time and money – something that will be in even
shorter supply for us this year than last, with the events that we have going on.
People need to comprehend just how much work goes into producing these
shows each and every week. The time, effort, energy and cost of constantly
researching, updating our websites and putting these shows together in a logical
format week in and week out is something that people just don’t; seem to
understand and the simple fact is that we can’t keep doing it for nothing.
We both want to inform and educate people about what’s going on in the world
but this year, more than ever, we have our own families to look after and attend
to. There’s simply no point going to extraordinary lengths to help other people
at the sacrifice of our own lives and our own families. So, we are going to need
your support this year more than ever. We will need a lot more Members, we
will need a lot more regular donations and we will be looking at bringing a
number of sponsors on board to help, not only u, but John as well, who also
invest an incredible amount of time, effort, energy and money into keeping the
RAT FM studio going.
So, I’m going to give everyone a head’s up here and now on the 20 th of January
– we will continue doing what we are doing for the next 6 months and then I
will be taking a break for a few months to look after my partner and our
newborn baby. If we come back on the air again after that point will depend
completely on you, our listeners. We do want to help you and we do want to
make a difference but, as Tom Cruise said in the movie, Jerry Maguire, you
need to help us to help you.
So, as I said before, there are going to be a number of changes this year and we
are going to endeavour to pack each show with even more information that we
did last year. So, before we get into this week’s show in earnest, if you have
any friends or family members that may not have tuned in yet, jump on the
phone or post a message on Facebook, send them a quick text message or an email and remind them that our show is on live, right now, in case they forgot.
Tell them to go to our website and click the Radio Show tab and listen in - or
they can even listen on their mobile device now via Tune In as well. We're
going to play a couple of songs now to give you a chance to do that and we will
be back with some exciting new information shortly.

Okay, as I said before the break, I want to go through a couple of media articles
that came across my desk over the last month that I think will be of interest – or
at least I believe that they should be of interest – to a lot of our listeners.
The first one is the story about the Block Their Shot campaign that was in the
media and being promoted on Facebook. The guys had almost 50,000 likes and
I personally think it is a brilliant idea and can’t understand why on earth people
were spouting crap in the media about it being dangerous.
We all know how frustrating it is to be driving down a busy road or freeway and
all of sudden there is a line of cars banked up in front of you for seemingly no
reason. 5, 10 or 15 minutes down the road, you see that a single car either broke
down or was involved in an accident and everyone slowed down to check it out
as they went past. So, why are there idiots in the media suggesting that people
setting up their cars to block camera cars is somehow going to cause people to
speed up when exactly the opposite can be seen to happen almost any day of the
week. I believe that if people see a broken down car on the side of the road, they
will either stop to help or, at the very least, slow down to make the area safer –
and, after all, isn’t that what speed cameras are supposed to be there for!
Of course, the police and the governments aren’t happy because they’re losing
tens of thousands of dollars in revenue but it’s been going for a little while now
and I haven’t heard of a single accident occurring at any one of those sites so I
dare say that, form a road safety perspective, the block their Shot campaign is
working extremely well.
Now, this brings me to my next point. When the money stops rolling in, the
government reacts – they have to, we have cut off their supply. Now, in this
instance, they reacted by arresting the guy who started the campaign. The
beauty is that doesn’t seem to have slowed down the campaign at all and, the
more the media talks about it – even with their negative spin and propaganda,
the more people hear about it and, hopefully, act on it. The point is that it is
making an impact and a difference.
Now, this is exactly the same principle behind what the guys at Aussie Speeding
Fines are doing with their e-book – informing and educating motorist about
their rights and teaching them how to fight back and challenge any unjust and
unlawful traffic fines that they receive and, in the same way as the Block their
Shot campaign, they are stopping money from rolling into the government
coffers and, sooner or later, they will have to react and start taking notice of
some of the true road safety strategies and initiatives that the ASF guys have
had up on their Vision for the Future page for many years now.
7
If you haven’t got a copy of their e-book yet or you haven’t; yet read over some
of their proactive and well thought out ideas, please be sure to do so. As many
of you know, I have been a long time supporter of the guys at ASF and I think
they do a brilliant job and I simply cannot recommend their work highly enough
and encourage all our listeners to support them and join them and help bring
about the many changes that they stand for.
Now, speaking of supporting the guys at Aussie Speeding Fines, I’m not sure if
you saw the interview that I did on A Current Affair right at the end of last year
– if you want to see it there is a link to it in the last e-mail update that the ASF
guys sent out that you can find by going to their news/updates page and just
scroll through the 31st of December update which is at the top of the 2014
Updates page.
The reason I mention that interview is because of the outrageous story behind it
– where a police officer in Melbourne – and it was an experienced Sergeant,
mind you, not a young Constable, admitted in open court, that it was more
important to remain hidden than it was to get an accurate reading – can you
believe that!
Now, let me make sure you understand this point fully – he actually took the
stand, in open court, and, when he was questioned he stated that he had to stay
hidden because, if he didn’t, then the driver might have slowed down! What
the??? Isn’t that the whole point of speed detection – to cause people to slow
down!!
But, it gets even worse than that because when he was questioned further, the
admitted that because of his position – hidden some 10 metres away from the
edge of the road, behind some trees – he was unable to get the full 3 second lock
that he was required to and tried pathetically to suggest that it was more
important to stay hidden than it was to get an accurate reading.
It was quite funny because when the crew from A Current affair came over to
interview me about the story, I asked if they were going to actually interview
the cop himself and they said that they had contacted him and he had no
remorse what-so-ever and was more than happy to talk on camera but we wasn’t
allowed to and that the police media people would appoint someone to talk on
his behalf – someone who wasn’t going to put his foot in his mouth again and
alienate the entire community form the police all together.
Interestingly, the guy that they brought on in his place tried to justify it by
suggesting that maybe the cop was hidden for safety reasons despite the officer
admitting in open court that he did it purely to raise revenue.
8
Now, it’s important to note that, as I stated to both the Herald Sun reporter, who
first spoke to me about this story – and the Current Affair team, I am not at all
surprised that this cop said what he did because I know for a fact that this kind
of thing goes on every day and that is how these cops are trained – what
surprises me is that the idiot said it in open court, on the record!
The bigger issue is that this is how blatant and brazen they are getting now – the
government and police treat us all like apathetic morons – which, sadly, many
people are – and, more and more, they openly admit that what they are doing is
just one big revenue raising scam but people are still too scared, brainwashed or
apathetic to do anything about it. Personally, I can’t understand why everyone
in the country doesn’t have the ASF e-book and why more people don’t;
challenge their fines.
Even the media have admitted that the percentage of people that challenge their
fines and beat them is actually quite high but the percentage of people that
actually bother to challenge their fines in the first place is still very low. With
resources such as the ASF e-book, all the information that we provide in these
broadcasts and on our websites and the work that people like the CLRG guys
do, we just can’t understand how this is allowed to go on in this day and age.
There has been another article or story, whatever you want to call it, that has
been going around the Facebook groups quite regularly, which is form the ex
police prosecutor by the name of Stan, who details, step-by-step,. Why
everyone should fight every fine they get. Now, for the people who don’t know,
as the spokesperson for ASF, I actually spoke to Stan – and no, that’s not
actually his real name, he asked me to change it – and I was the one that
convinced him to write that extensive e-mail. If you haven’t seen it yet, jump on
the ASF Advanced membership website because that’s where it was originally
uploaded to.
Anyway, the point is that things are getting completely out of control now and
we need to collectively do something about it and start fighting back. I even
heard a story where people were now being issued with fines because the visors
that they put on their motorbike helmets did not have the correct Australian
Standard sticker on them. Look, I ride a motorbike myself and I understand the
importance of having an approved helmet but, surely, having some kind of
helmet would be better than having no helmet at all. But, with these fines, the
police are saying that they would rather motorcyclists ride into the sun with no
protection at all rather than use something that doesn’t have a sticker on it – on
a visor of all things. It’s just absurd!
9
Okay, so that’s my rant on those points for the moment but please, do take note
of what I have said and, more importantly, take action because that’s the only
way we’re gonna stop this insanity.
So, now I want to quickly talk about our upcoming seminars for a minute,
before our next break. For those of you who are new listeners, we ran our first
official, Know Your Rights seminar in Melbourne on the 15th of November last
year and it was a huge success. There was a great turnout of people, we got
some fantastic feedback and we have included some statements and even some
video testimonials from some of the attendees on our Seminar page.
We took that feedback and we have added to and improved the content of our
seminar and our next one is being held in Brisbane in just under 2 weeks time –
on Saturday the 31st of January at the Moorooka Community Centre, which is
about 10 or 15 minutes south of Brisbane.
Now, we actually sent out an e-mail last week to everyone who is registered on
our database to let them know that the venue had now been locked in and a
handful of people e-mailed us back with concerns that the date that we had
selected – which, mind you, we selected in early December last year – was now
the polling date for QLD residents.
Our first and most obvious reply to those e-mails is that if that is a genuine
concern to you then you, of all people need to attend our seminar. We have a
number of segments on the Constitution and government, as well as other
sections on defeating fines as well. So, first and foremost, why would you even
consider giving your “vote of confidence” – because that is, after all, what a
vote is – to any one of the puppets up for election?
Secondly, once you go through the section in our seminar on UniDroit and learn
how private laws have been brought into Australia by the powers-that-be and
how whoever is voted in is nothing more than a spokesperson for the Vatican,
you will never even consider voting again. And, even if this is all very new to
you and you are just starting off down the path learning about and
understanding your rights, we can show you very quickly how to successfully
challenge any “failure to vote” fine and would recommend that you invest the
time in attending our seminar, instead of standing in line to vote for someone
that, in our opinion, does not deserve that vote in the slightest!
So, please, if you haven’t yet booked your ticket, please go to our seminar page
- www.knowyourrightsgroup.com.au/seminar - and do so right away. The
tickets are just $150 and that gives you entry to the full day of information plus
a copy of the 50+ page workbook – which contains copies of all our PowerPoint
10
slides, as well as space to make all your own notes and it also gives you the
opportunity to answer any questions about any of the topics that we cover, that
you may have, on the day as well.
This really is exceptional value and implementing just one of the many
strategies that we discuss on the day would very easily save you 10 times the
cost of the ticket to attend. Again, we need to remind people that the actual cost
of the flights and accommodation for the speakers, the cost of hiring the hall
and all the audio visual equipment, the cost of printing the professionally
printed and bound workbooks is all well in excess of the ticket price. We need
to fill these seminars, otherwise, the reality is that they will cease as quickly as
they started.
We currently have our Sydney seminar locked in for Saturday, the 21st of
February – we are yet to finalise a venue but we hope to do that in the next
week or so – but, again, to do that effectively, we need to get an accurate idea of
numbers so we need people to book their tickets now and not leave it until the
last minute. We have a new seminar flyer made up for the Brisbane seminar and
we ask you to please download that and pass it onto anyone you know who
might like to learn about their rights and urge them to purchase their ticket
sooner rather than later.
Quite simply, if we don’t at least get the numbers that we had for our
Melbourne seminar then we just won’t be running any more seminars in the
future or in other States. So, once again, the future of those seminars, like these
broadcasts, is in your hands.
Okay, we’re going to play a couple more songs now and give you a chance to
either book your seminar tickets or, at the very least, send off an e-mail or print
off a flyer and help us spread the word about our upcoming Brisbane and
Sydney seminars and we’re going to come back and go through some of the
Facebook questions and posts that Brenton put together over the past month or
so.

As I mentioned on our last show last year, we have been grinding away for the
past 6 months to get the Know Your Rights Group up and running and to get a
bit of a following and some momentum behind us, which we have now done so,
for us, 2015 is going to be the year to bring about some real change.
I also mentioned that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and
again but expecting a different result. So, it’s important to decide now, at the
start of this year, what you want to achieve and be part of in 2015.
Do you want more of the same – higher taxes, increased fines, less freedom,
more invasion of privacy or, do you want to educate yourself, learn about your
rights and then stand up for them and fight back against injustice, taking a stand
for yourself, your children and your children’s children and to feel a sense of
power, confidence and freedom like you have never felt before.
If you choose the latter then be sure to work with us in 2015, be sure to tell your
friends and family about us and start taking some action now to make this year
different to last year.
By all means, you can start off small if you like – go to the local government
class action page and take 30 seconds to sign up to that. Download and send off
the letters to your local MP from our Local Government page. Write a letter to
your bank regarding your mortgage insurance or your Certificate of Title – if
they don’t apply to you, speak to your friends and family and find out who has a
mortgage and get them to send those letters off.
Contact the guys at Aussie Speeding Fines and ask them to send you out a
bunch of business cards and bumper stickers – they don’t cost anything and you
can help spread the word and let the many people out there who still don’t
realise, that they do have options, they can actually challenge their fines, often
very simply – it doesn’t cost money, you don’t need a lawyer and the feeling of
power and freedom that comes from successfully defeating an unjust and
unlawful fine is something that you simply have to experience for yourself to
truly understand and appreciate.
Then, if you want to do even more, sign up for the Aussie Speeding Fines ebook, watch the Strawman videos and research that concept on-line. Order your
tickets for our upcoming seminars and speak to the guys at Operate in the
Private about setting up a private foundation – take some new action to make
2015 your year rather than just another year of money grabbing and control by
the powers-that be.
12
The guys at Aussie Speeding Fines have asked me to quickly mention their
affiliate program again. So, just very quickly, if you go to their website
www.Aussiespeedingfines.com you will find an affiliate link and if you join
their affiliate program you can actually earn a full 33% commission on every
single member that you refer to them.
So, if you joined up as an e-book member and then referred just three people
who, in turn, also joined up as e-book members, then your e-book membership
would, essentially, be free. This is a really great way to help out your fellow
motorists, by directing them towards information that is going to educate and
inform them about their rights and also earn a great little income on the side.
If anyone has a large database or a website that gets a lot of hits then this is a
great opportunity to help them spread the word and make some serious cash as
well. As I said before, in my view, every man or woman who travels in an
automobile should have a copy of the Aussie Speeding Fines e-book in their
glovebox – it’s just that simple.
Make full use of all the information that is already on our website and the ASF
website too - there is a ton of free information available, people can access and
download all of our podcasts, the ASF site has probably even more free info
than ours does. The point is that there is a wealth of information available and it
is all easily accessible on just 2 websites – you just need to actually access it,
learn it and then use it!
As I mentioned earlier in the show, we are looking at new ways of generating
some cash flow to ensure that we can continue running these weekly radio
shows right throughout the year and organising some great guest speakers as
well. We also need to continue researching for our shows and so that we can
also update our website with the latest, cutting edge information and strategies
for learning about and standing up for your rights.
In particular, we have spoken about sponsors for the show and many of you will
have now noticed some of the professional ads that we have playing throughout
our show. Again, this is an incredible ground level opportunity for any small to
medium sized businesses to get involved before things really take off. We have
shows on every night on RAT FM now and day time spaces are looking to be
filled soon as well so your ads will be heard many times throughout the day and
will reach a wide range of people.
Each week we try and put something new in place to make our show that little
bit more professional and, we now have our introduction song – “We’re not
gonna take it anymore” which you will now hear at the start of each show and
13
many of you will have noticed the extra info that has now been edited into that
song as well. We also have an official slogan now – “Those who don’t know
their rights have none” and now we have the new phone system working as
well.
All the RAT FM shows are moving to a whole new level of professionalism and
now we have the new, fully functioning phone system as well. So, if you or
your company would like to be involved at this time, please send John an e-mail
directly at sponsorship@ratfm.com so he can fill you in on the finer details.
And, finally, as I mentioned in previous shows, we have now launched the new
Know Your Rights membership area, where people can now access mp3
downloadable podcasts without the music, as well as the notes for each
broadcast as well. We are still toying around with the idea of a Know Your
Rights e-book and we welcome any other thoughts and suggestions you may
have for us to generate some extra cash flow in a way that represents excellent
value for money for our listeners. Please feel free to email those ideas through
to us at feedback@knowyourrightsgroup.com.au
Again, we would like to take this opportunity to point out that whilst we do
appreciate your emails and suggestions throughout the week, we do not always
get the chance to respond to them individually so please note that we are not
ignoring new we just don’t always get the chance to personally respond to every
email we receive.
We also note that many people are trying to ask us questions through the Know
Your Rights Facebook group and again, we simply do not have the time to
personally respond to each of these posts. The Facebook group has been set up
more so that our listeners and followers can discuss topics with each other
rather than with us directly.
And, speaking of our Facebook group, we have reached another milestone this
week as we have now achieved over 3,250 members which is absolutely
fantastic considering that we only launched our Facebook group about 4 months
ago. Our Facebook group is going from strength to strength and we would ask
people to keep sharing a link to that group on their Facebook page every week
or so to keep it fresh in people’s minds.
And, Brenton, I note that Aussie Speeding Fines has now reached over
6,000 members which is sensational news.
The more people we can get talking about these topics day in and day out, the
more quickly we can make some serious changes to the current corrupt system.
14
As we mentioned on previous broadcasts, our goal is to stop people focusing on
football, meat pies and Holden cars and instead, get them focussing on, and
talking about, their rights and how to stand up for them and how to exercise
them.
Okay, we’re going to go to one last, short song break and then we’ll be back to
finish off.
Play 1 Song
We'd like to remind everyone listening that our goal here with these broadcasts
is to inform and educate people as to what is really going on in the world and to
help people to really "wake up" to the truth that is all around them that they are
either blinded or conditioned from seeing.
One of the great sites that we have found recently is the Wake up the Sheep
website which can be found at www.wakeupthesheep.com They have a number
of important stories from around the globe that we simply do not hear about
here through our local media and many of them cover topics that people here
really should be aware of.
One of the challenges that we have is that everyone is at different levels in
regards to how "awake" they are or, once they are truly awake, how much they
actually know about a particular topic.
So, the Know Your Rights Group was put together to create a one-stop website
for people to come to regarding some of the most popular topics and we are
looking to expand the amount of basic, introductory information that we have
on that website and then, once people have their heads around those various
topics, they can then go onto dedicated websites such as Aussie Speeding Fines,
CLRG and the soon to be developed Bank Secrets Revealed sites to find our
more specific detailed information about these various topics.
Also, we are slowly but surely building up a regular base of listeners for the
Know Your Rights show and we will be doing more research and hopefully
talking to some new people about all kinds of topics that concern our freedoms
and Constitutional rights so be sure to block off your Tuesday nights between 8
and 10pm and, if you can't listen in live for some reason, be sure to check for
our podcasts which will now be uploaded each week so you can listen in to all
your favourite parts of the show.
As I say each week, these shows don't write themselves, it takes about 4 hours
or more each week to prepare for each 2 hour show. We have to research the
15
content and put it all together in a format that flows and makes sense. We do
this in addition to trying it upload new information to our website each week or
so and, as anyone who is involved in web design knows, there is a fair bit of
work involved in setting up and constantly updating a website - writing the
content, uploading that, constantly making little changes here and there etc. and
this all costs time and money.
So, if you enjoy these broadcasts and appreciate all the new information that we
keep adding to our Know Your Rights website then please help us out by
making a donation via the link on our Home page.
Also, if anyone has any related events, meetings, rallies, seminars or anything
like that, please let us know here at RAT FM or via the Know Your Rights
Group website and we will gladly promote any relevant events during our show
and even get you live on air to discuss them.
We're going to finish off tonight by reminding everyone that, as always, nothing
in this broadcast is to be considered as legal or financial advice and we
recommend that listeners do their own, independent research into all of the
topics we discussed and we recommend websites such as:
www.knowyourrightsgroup.com.au
www.aussiespeedingfines.com
www.banksecretsrevealed.com.au
And finally, just before we go, don't forget to listen in to the other great shows
that RATFM now has on air.
Monday nights now feature Alternative and Indie rock with Drop D between 8
and 10pm. Tomorrow night from 8 til 10 is the Glass Off which is a great
surfing show with Lonza and also from 8 til midnight on Thursday for the heavy
metal show, Disaster Zone with The General and Dr Death.
And, last but not least, stay tuned in because coming up next is the Dave and
Ronx show which is sure be a bit of fun with the boys coming up in just a few
minutes.

Cairns Grandma held in custody by police over $20 parking fine from 22 years
ago
A MANUNDA grandmother has been left “gobsmacked and humiliated” after
police sent to investigate a crime at her home arrested her over a $20 parking
fine...

Francisco:
Hello there, a while back I received a parking ticket and did not pay it only to
find a few months later that the SDRO went into my bank account and stole the
money. After all their bs they took $271 directly from my account which is a lot
for me. I don't care for money as I understand its false creation but it's the
principal of it. This was the response they gave me when I called them out for
the criminals they are.
Thank you for your email in relation to Enforcement Order (EO) 327311676

> Section 73 of the Fines Act 1996 empowers our office to issue an order to
garnish the bank account or salary of a person for the purposes of
satisfying their outstanding debts. The garnishee order operates as a garnishee
order made by the Local Court under Part 8 of the Civil Procedure

> Act 2005, and can be issued to an employer or bank, who are then required by
law to forward payment to our office; this action attracts a further $65
enforcement fee

I don't necessarily want to go to war with the local government over the
legitimacy of parking/speeding fines more I'm looking for a realistic leveraging
option to be able to negotiate for a fairer (and cheaper) outcome. Can anyone
help with this?
Miles:
Hi just wondering what rights I have with the meter reader coming onto
property without consent or prior notice? And have been asked to call ahead
each few months they do come. I often am in my birthday suit like I just was
and his eyes must have been painted on as I'm covering my bits and telling him
to piss off as am nude. Response 'Ahhh sorry mate I called out(verbally on a
five acre property)three times and it doesn't say anything on here about calling
before' whilst continuing to walk to me with my dog going off his nut! I know
he was doing his job but I don't even know he if was as just bloke in a high vis
shirt with a iPad thingy

2:The thieves are running a business of corruption, theft, coercion, extortion and

I cannot believe what I'm reading... We will seize your property and sell it
because you haven't paid me money?
That's sounds like the making of organized crime to me....

Now please advise what is reasonable and diligent and what are exceptional

In Queensland (and much-like other states, I believe) SPER appear to be losing
the battle big-time in the collection of fines. Debt itself may even now be being
"sold off" to third party private collection agencies.
< ............ The government recently passed legislation to allow private debt
collectors to begin chasing outstanding SPER debts, which in 2013 grew to
$774,703,548. >
In another article, post-code figures are shown and split and there's also mention
of the amendment to the SPER legislation.
19
< In total SPER is owed $321,443,184 from 1,280,372 debts registered so far
this financial year.
In 2013 the SPER debt pool grew to $774,703,548.
Earlier this year the government amended the SPER legislation to allow
brokers, appointed by the government, to manage a panel of debt collection
companies to chase outstanding debts. >

Could anyone advise me on the powers , parks victoria have ? Do they have a
right to issue fines ? If I ride my electric golf cart in a national park can they
issue me a fine ? I don't seem to be able to find what powers they have or how I
should treat them... ie, do I even have to talk to them when adressed by them, do
they have a power to hold me if I choose to leave, when being questioned ......

Need some advice I have been fighting a parking ticket for over 1and half years.
I have moved quite a distance away and they changed my court date for
tomorrow without my knowledge. I can't make it I'm a teacher and I have kids
to teach and there is nobody to take over my class. This case has been adjourned
4 times now. They even flew the ticket issuing ranger from Perth to Geraldton
to testify against my 75 dollar ticket. Funny thing is the car isn't even registered
to me and they never even mailed an infringement notice to the registered
owner to nominate a driver lol. I just phoned them about the ticket have them
my name and they sent me a notice to go to court over a year ago. They even
brought in a lawyer for one of the adjournments where we both sat there for
over three hours. Anyway I know I would win but am going to get screwed
over. Wonder if I can appeal if it goes ahead tomorrow as I can say the
registered owner was the driver.
Glen:
Can a council simply put you into a debt collection agency for disputing a
parking fine? I requested the matter be heard by a court of competent
jurisdiction, subject to my Constitutional rights, and they have forwarded the
matter to a debt collection agency without allowing me to have this decided by
the court system.
What is the next process?
Crystal:
Can anyone tell me why they wiped off 3ks on one fine but not the other?
21
Mez:
A full page on "how cameras work" was sent with the notice, but no photo of
my car??? Oh, and the back of the penalty reads: Less than 1% of penalties
result in a not guilty verdict in court... so, what about the other X% that result in
fines being waived or voided?? This misinformation makes me so mad grrrr!

The Imperial Acts Applications Act [sec 43], the Commonwealth of Australia
Constitution Act [sec 115] and the Currency Act [sec 16c] when read in
conjunction with each other, provide that the maximum with which to discharge
any state debt is the highest value gold or silver coin X 10
1) The Imperial Acts were never valid to begin with because they were a
constitutional enactment that didn't go to referendum
2) The Currency Act specifies coin can be used in said amounts as legal tender.
it's referring to emptying out your piggy bank at Woolworths instead of bank for
example
3) s115 was replaced with the Reserve Bank Act and Currency Act

Does anyone know the facts on Title Deeds?
We are no longer issued our title deeds if we have paid out our debt to a
financier. It is said to be for protection so title is not lost or manipulated with.
Is it perhaps in fact that what people write about us owning nothing be in fact
true if we never get our title deeds even if debt is extinguished?

1):So some of you may remember about 6 months ago I was arrested for
contravening a police requirement. I was pulled over for a random breath test /
licence check, I told the officer I reserved my rights, he said I'm not giving you
an option, and then was arrested, Well It was set for a hearing in February but I
just found out police prosecution has dropped the case, I'm not sure why, They
wouldn't tell me. The only thing I did was speak to the prosecutor at one of the
first court dates and politely explain that my rights were violated and I would be
taking the matter as far as I could.
Now that it is dropped I want to put together a claim against the officers for
wrongful arrest and imprisonment (They locked me in the watchouse for 5
hours because I would not sign anything or give them a "proper" name,).
Thoughts?

2):Hi all, great group a lot of great info on here,
Have just received a notice from the sheriff department NSW stating that state
debt recovery has issued a property seizure order for unpaid fine (driving
24
infringements) from years ago. Any advice on the way to respond to this, it's the
first I've heard of this matter.
John:
Just from the top of your ahead answer the following without googling.
What is the difference is between detained and arrested?
Put yourself on the spot and answer exactly how you comprehend it now.
Megs:
Did you know if you want to go to a police station and make a statement about a
crime you feel has been committed against you that legally police cannot turn
you away? They must take your statement!! I had an offer try to refuse early in
September/end of August and I stood my ground. As a result I had a man
charged with indecent assault, it went to court but police didn't tell me so I was
not able to have an advocate attend to take notes on what happened or even a
lawyer present.
Gordon:
Got pulled over about a month ago was towing a cut down ute tray converted to
a trailer was pulled over for having an unregistered trailer was asked if I minded
them searching my 4x4 and if there was anything in there that shouldn't be there
so I let them know that my machetes were in the very back from being out
camping the week before and having to salvage a friend’s car that had been
written of out the bush they searched the 4x4 then asked me to show were the
machetes were so I moved all of my recovery gear and tools to show where they
were so I get them taken by the police this is on the Friday morning Monday
arvo I get a fine for un-registered trailer and a $1000 fine for possession of a
controlled weapon without a lawful excuse now have had un-registered fine
dropped due to he never even got a tape measure out but am fighting the
controlled weapons charge due to the brief says that the fine was served on the
Friday not Monday when I received the fines on Monday can you give me some
advice on how to clear my name.
25
Glen: Some info when dealing with the policy enforcers...police. Use a mobile
phone to record everything. If the police say you cannot record you say “now I
have on record that you either do not know the law or that you are a liar" nice
touch that
Belinda:
Hi l have never asked a question here but can someone pls tell me if my son
who has 9months to go before he is fully licenced motorbike rider, which means
0 alcohol, if he turned his bike around in the driveway which has no gates but
doesn't do anything else but turn his bike around, is the anything the police can
do to him?
Brett:
Can anyone here provide their opinion or advice on this: Can police confiscate
your phone and go through it if they want?
John:
Hey guys, I need an answer to my question i was travelling along the M1
freeway the other night coming back from my parents’ house at around 9pm and
i went to overtake a car that was traveling at 90-95km in a 100km zone as i was
over taking i went over the speed limit of about 4km or i think it was 2km as i
drive a v6 turbo as I overtook, when i looked in my rear view mirror there was a
police motor bike, now.. Can police motor bikes capture your rego and speed or
not? He didn't pull me over but he sat behind me for a good 30 seconds then
quickly slipped into the lane beside me and sped off at a really fast speed? So do
police motor bikes have cameras attached to them or not?
Mario:
Can anyone confirm on a summons if the persons written name must be spelt as
it is on the licence?

Howdy all, I’m looking for a good template in regards to a "toll notice" that has
gone to an "infringement notice".
I returned there offer months ago. But recently received an "infringement
notice".
Thanks in advance
Mia:
So wife & i have been surprised w/ 5 fines. 1 in Oct and the rest in Nov. We
received the 5th just this week. All offences were all on the same intersection in
Dandenong corner Stud Rd & Heatherton Rd where there is a camera. The thing
is they recently changed the speed limit there from 80 to 60. But once you cross
Heatherton Rd heading towards Ringwood not long after the intersection an 80
sign is still up. The funny thing is i have not realised they changed the speed
limit so i have been traveling as if it was 80 but on the fines it states alleged
speeds of 66, 69, 67, 66 & 65. How can that be when I’ve been driving as if the
speed limit was still 80????? I would be doing at least 75 or something. I don’t
understand what's going on and why all these fines have come all within 3-4
weeks. I am going to write a complaint and get it reviewed and state the things
I’ve written here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Tax:
John:
ATO (the illegal entity) has a form “Non lodgement advice "
My question is, what can you put there as an excuse to never lodge tax returns
ever again.
So far I am aware that people use excuses such as “spiritual/religious reasons”
What other excuse do you think can work?

I have just watched the current affair that Mike was on ( i recorded it ) ...... now
i am confused as to why Mike wasted his time arguing about bullshit ( in my
view ) ( i am not in any way trying to put Mike down for any reason ) but .... He
knows that all fines are invalid due to section 109 of the Australian
Constitution..... yet he did not state any of this ... he even said that the cops
should be more open viewed to the people saying that they should continue to
commit treason in the open and not in convert or hidden .... That threw me.....
27
So what if the copper told A Magistrate (singular) that it is OK to go covert.....
A single judge cannot judge another.... that judge is committing treason by
executing a Start Chamber for a start..... Sorry ...... but one of our brothers has
fallen into to the media trap i feel.... Mike please explain... Very lost ... i hope
you haven’t lost your way brother..... there has been no speed laws put into
power by a referendum of we the people of this land ... no human can tell
another how competent they are to drive at what speed .... As long as they cause
no harm or death or vandalism or theft and fulfil all their contracts they have
broken no law.... Vic Roads or TAC have no authority and cannot control any
human being... that is slavery.... oh and they didn’t even say who Mike is or
even introduced him to the viewer’s so if i didn’t know who he was i would
have most likely thought who the hell is this goose talking in a suit and why has
he got the rights to say what he said ... very confusing interview.. Most likely
manipulated in some way ... WHEREAS THE PEOPLE...
Glen:
Just read the latest Watchtower pamphlet and although it has articles concerning
religion, I found something called "The poison of government corruption"
To quote" Govt corruption has been defined as the abuse of public power for
private gain." The abuse has a long history dating back to the bible with
reference to a law prohibiting bribery in judicial cases highlighting the practice
existed well over 3500 years ago (Exodus 23 verse 8)
"While corruption can exist in any human organization, it seems corruption in
government is the worst. The 2013 Global Corruption Barometer, published by
Transparency International, reports that people worldwide have the perception
that the 5 most corrupt institutions are political parties, the police, public
officials, the legislature and the judiciary."That report includes myself and no
doubt many of you likeminded men and women.
Brenton: This would be great to just remind the listeners that they are some
body. Picture says “I always wondered why somebody didn’t do something
about that, then I realised, I am somebody!”
Glen:
Power of the people. Tasmania's Liberal Government tried to pass legislation
via Attorney General Vanessa Goodwin, to have mandatory sentencing for
protesting. A violation of our rights to disagree with a decision and make a
stand. The new so called anti protest bill wasn't passed as people protested
against it. So it was basically watered down to a dribble after the tide was turned
by enraged electorates. Sometimes it pays to be on the electoral roll even though
I think better of my decision to exercise my democratic rights

How do i prove to someone that i am a living beneficiary and not a
dead/fictitious corporate identity? Is there documentation to supply proof of
this?
Peter:
Just got back from court. Did not go how i imagined. When i handed the
magistrate the asserevation i wrote saying i was the beneficiary of the trust etc,
he said 'oh dear' then had a flick through it. Then he asked my name. i said
peter. Then he cracked the shits and had a winge about what i had just done.
then he said well if you’re not PETER VAN EEDE then sit at the back of the
court. Then he had another winge and said there would be a bench warrant
against PETER VAN EEDE and i would be arrested. he said the last person to
do that stayed in custody for 5 days before they changed their story. so i wasn't
interested in being arrested right there so i entered the court again and i said my
name wast peter Gregory of the van eede bloodline. the magistrate said that’s
close enough for me. then the charges were read out. he asked if i understood
30
each one. to which i said no. then he had a go at me saying 'do you have a
mental health problem?'
the matter has been adjourned to the 29th of jan.
the magistrate basically said in his rant that the Law issued Motu Proprio is a
load of rubbish and applies only to the religious.

How powerful is your signature? When signing forms for Government agencies
where you are instructed to fill in your details in block letters and use only black
ir blue ink, I like to fill the form in without block lettering and always sign in
red ink. That makes a big difference and I get satisfaction telling the public
servant behind the desk when they complain..."you just don't understand you are
a servant and always will be unless you fight" I think they hate me.
