There will be a Snowmobile Safety Course held on Friday, December 12th from 6-9 p.m., and on December 13th from 9-12 at Germantown Hall in New Lisbon. The cost is $10 per student. Although financial aid can seem intimidating and overwhelming, we will help you understand the general terms, timelines, and application questions involved with the process. December 10 is also parent conference evening from 4:30-7:30 Wisconsin Professional Police Association-For seniors enrolling in a college or technical school in a course of study leading to a two or four year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field. Jan Ray Scholarship- $1,500 for several Juneau, Adams, or Monroe County seniors who have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA and plan to major in a social services , psychology, sociology or social work field. Apply by March 15. Alliant Energy Community Scholarship— Twenty-five—$1,000 scholarships for seniors whose parents are customers of Alliant Energy (Wis. Power & Light). Award selection is based on participation in a leadership role in community service activities and volunteer work; academic grade point average; standardized test scores; and the content of a 300-word essay submission. Mediacom Scholarship- $1,000 for seniors who have demonstrated leadership and initiative in their school and community activities. This is a regional scholarship that MHS has received in the past.
