•Re-visit Cafeteria Caper (evidence).
•Intro to chemical digestion
•Video – breaking down molecules; Review of food types
• Pre-lab (Food Tests 1)
•Food tests demonstrations. Each student has the complete procedure with
blank table. Demo e.g. starch. Groups test for starch on 3 substances (dry
cracker, chewed cracker, control). Continue for other food tests.
