Assignment title
Web-based Control Panel for B&H
Purpose of this assignment
To provide learners with an understanding of Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and the delivery of a wide
range of networked services across a WAN infrastructure.
Company:
B&H is a network of schools across England. B&H also sells franchises within England.
B&H recently had their systems computerised and everything is now centralized and controlled through a web-based
control panel.
B&H has 5 branches in the North, West and East of England which are under their own management and 2 franchise
branches in the North-West and South-East of England.
The centralized database is for the 5 branches which are owned and operated by B&H.
The management of B&H decided to have access to the franchise branches in order to maintain standards and quality
education in all the branches.
The management of B&H wants to have checks and balances on franchise branches.
B&H decided to have a private corporate network that is able to connect all 7 locations within England in order to
transport various types of data such as email, voice and video.
You have been hired to design a network for B&H schools.
You must consider following when you design the network.
