The thermometer under these conditions registered about 0.3 higher. An examination of the table and curve revealed that the minimum boiling point is for alcohol of 96% by weight. The curve was steeper on the side toward absolute alcohol. Alcohol of 90.7% had the same boiling point as absolute alcohol.
