TESTIMONY
40 And I am one, that's borned out of season
from you Pentecostal brethren. I was raised up in no
church at all. When I was a little boy, this Angel, this
Light Who came over me... And there, down through my
life, not knowing what It was until I received the
baptism of the Holy Ghost, and He called me to be one
among you, to be with you. And I thank God for that
privilege of--of giving me that opportunity.

69 Did you know Joel said there will be a former
and a latter rain? The former rain (f-o-r-m-e-r) means
"moureh," Hebrew word which means a sowing rain-sowing a crop. What did you reap? Oh, the
organization's built up; but where's God at? You've
sowed denominational seed. When the Holy Ghost
fell it made a denominational revival.
What we need is get back to the Word. Get back
to the real Word of God, and bring forth a Bride to
Christ and the Word. True, back to the Word.

• Nov. 1947: George Hawtin travels to Vancouver, BC to see
William Branham
• 1947-1948: Hawtin and others promoted long fasts and prayer
meetings modeled on Branham's revivals and the book, Atomic
Power with God through Fasting and Prayer, by Franklin Hall.
February 12, 1948: The Bible school in North Battleford
experiences revival.
• July 1948: Camp meeting at North Battleford.
• Nov. 1948: M. D. Beall travels to Vancouver, BC to hear the
Hawtins et al.
• Dec. 5, 1948: Revival breaks out at Bethesda Missionary Temple
in Detroit, MI.
• January 1949: Stanley Frodsham visits Bethesda and approves
the revival.

51 How many believes that gifts and callings are
without repentance? The Bible said there's five gifts in
the church. God has set in the church Apostles, or
missionaries, apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists,
pastors. Truly. If there's apostle, there's a prophet. If
there's a prophet, there's a teacher. If there's a teacher,
there's a pastor or a evangelist…
52 Now, you don't lay hands on one another
for them gifts. God has set in the church… (John the
Baptist) How many knows that Jer. 1:4 says, "Before
you was even formed in your mother's womb, I knew
you, and I sanctified you, and ordained you a prophet to
the nations."

Gifts and callings are not what somebody's
done; it's what God has done. They're born; they're
raised up with them; it's what God has done.
Now, He calls some of us to preach, some of us
to teach, some of us with different spirits of
operation.

60 Years ago they said, "Come, Brother Branham,"
when the ministry first started, "we'll start a
organization, build you a memorial somewhere." I'm
not looking for memorials. I'm looking for the coming
of the Lord. They formed a little cult called the
Latter Rain, moved up into Canada and out into
California, but it fell through. 'Course it can't go. Why
was it? The only thing they know; they come out of
those things, and they got a little touch of it. They've got
to have something they got to do.

upon those brethren, they had noticed in them men was
the gift. Remember, "Stir up that gift which was in you,
come from your grandmother Lois." And they seen this in
Timothy, and therefore the elders laid hands upon him
and ordaining him.
Not put hands upon a man that nothing has ever
been showed forth, you see. And they just asked the
blessings. And we all believe that. So we don't impart
spiritual gifts; we only recognize them, and lay hands
upon them, to sanction them, that we believe that
God has done such things for the people.

58 But God said, "I will restore all the years that the
palmerworm and cankerworm and all the other worms
eat. I will restore, saith the Lord." That same church that
was down yonder on the day of Pentecost that fell, and
filled a church, that the Roman church finally
(cankerworms into organizations, denominations) eat it
down to a stump. But God said He would restore it in
the last days.
Evening light shall shine. We need evening-time
evangelism, with evening-time message, not a bunch of
creeds. They had former and latter rain. The Hebrew
word for "former" means "sowing rain," and then the
reaping rain. Sowing...

What have we got out of this revival? More
members. What did we sow? Denominational seed.
We reap a denominational crop.
The Baptists had a big slogan out: a million more
in forty-four. Billy Graham, great revivalist... That's
true. We appreciate them men. But what we need
today, brother, is sow the Gospel seed of the Word
of the power, resurrection of Christ, the living
Being that's living with us, in us now, present tense.
"He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do
also." Amen.

GOD.PROVIDING.HEALING
FOR.THIS.GENERATION
31 The ground has to receive the wheat in
order to reproduce life. And you have to receive the
Word of God in your heart to produce what the Word
says it will be. Every Word of God is a Seed… And
corn will bring forth a corn, a wheat a wheat, a barley
a barley... And if God's Word is a Seed, as Jesus said It
was, and It's placed in the human heart, watered by
faith, It'll produce anything that God said in His Word
that It would do. It'll produce.

Joel has spoke of these days, this is that day.

LEADERSHIP
139 The Life, the stalk back here carried the Life. Certainly,
it did. But, you see, when it become the stalk and it was finished,
the organization, the Life went right on into Wesley; come right
out… One, a big blade, don't look like the grain. But when the little
pollen comes, it looks a whole lot like the grain. But when it comes
down to that shuck, it's almost there.
140 Didn't Jesus say, "In the last days" (Matthew 24:24) "the
two would be so close it would deceive the very genes,
predestinated, the Elected Ones, if it was possible"? Almost like the
real thing, see. So, in the last days. Now, you see, it's wheat time
now. It's getting harvest time. This is not Luther's age, this is
not Pentecost age, this is the Bride age.
141 As Moses called a nation out of a nation, Christ today is
calling a Church out of a church, you see; the same thing in type,
taking them to the glorious Eternal Promised Land.

HYBRID:
An organism that is the offspring of two parents that
differ in one or more inheritable characteristics, especially
the offspring of two different varieties of the same species
or the offspring of two parents belonging to different
species. In agriculture and animal husbandry, hybrids of
different varieties and species are bred in order to combine
the favorable characteristics of the parents.
Hybrids often display hybrid vigor. The mule, which
is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse, is an
example of a hybrid. It is strong for its size and has better
endurance and a longer useful lifespan than its parents.
However, mules are sterile, as are many animals that are
hybrids between two species.

HAVING.CONFERENCES
42 I seen so many of them at meetings. You're
talking about the baptism of the Holy Ghost; they get up and
go home like a mule. They don't know who their father was;
just stand there and look, and "Haw, haw. The days of
miracles is passed."
Now, a horse ain't like that. He's gentle and sweet... But
not a ignorant old mule. Now, he don't know who is papa
was, who his mommy was. He can't cross himself back; he
can't reproduce himself. He's just a cross breed. And that's
the matter with a lot of so-called Christians today: cross
breeds with the world. No wonder you can't never be settled:
double minded, never able to come to the knowledge of the
truth. Man's got to know God by the new birth, and be
borned and filled with the Holy Ghost.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION
11-1 …Don't never lay it on God a-making a mule.
God never had anything to do with that. No, that was
man. The mule don't know where he belongs. He can't
reproduce himself again. He's a hybrid… he don't
know who his father was nor his mother was... He's just
a mule and he's on the skid row to death. And no matter
how much he tries to bring forth his kind, he can't do it.
That's all contrary to God's Word. God said here in
Gen. 1:11. "Let every seed bring of its kind, for the life is in
itself.“ But man is trying to show that he's smarter than
his Creator.

21 Take corn, hybreed it, make a great big
ear. All right if you want to eat it on the big ear.
But what happens to it? Plant it back; it can't
reproduce itself again. It's no good; it's dead.
Therefore, anything that wasn't spoke by
God in the beginning is a hybrid.
22 And that's the way that people gets
away from the Word of God. It becomes a
hybrid affair. It must die. It cannot bring forth
of its kind to life again.

The church that will refuse to believe
the Word of God is a hybrid church with
dogmas, creeds, doctrines that's not
Scriptural. That church cannot bring forth
a Spirit-filled child, 'cause it's hybrid. It's
no good. It might be bigger, great big walls,
fine pews, big bells, plush seats. But that
doesn't mean one thing. It's spiritually dead.

124-4 CHURCH.AGE.BOOK
Do you know the most famous hybrid in the world? It
has been with us for ages. It is the mule. It is a cross between
a donkey and a horse. He is a funny kind of an animal. He
can't reproduce himself. He has no life that can do that. Yet
talk about work. He can outwork the horse or the donkey.
But watch his nature. He is stubborn and you can never trust
him. He is a perfect picture of hybrid religion. A cross
between truth and darkness, for the horse is a type of the
true believer and the ass a picture of the unrighteous one.
Mix them and you have a sterile, formal religion. It hasn't the
seed of life. It is dead. It can talk about truth but it can't
produce it. It doesn't have God in its midst, yet it gathers
together and talks about God, and all the while
systematically denies the power.

And there is never any hope for them. Do you realize
that no organized religion ever had a revival? Never! Once
they organized they died. They can't ever come back. I can
show you that in type.
In Exodus 13:13, "And every firstling of an ass thou
shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then
thou shalt break his neck; and all the first-born of man among
thy children shalt thou redeem."
See, the ass can be redeemed. Every miserable sinner
can be redeemed by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, or in
rejecting Christ be rejected himself. But you don't redeem
the mule. There is no redemption for him. There is no blood
for him. There can't be because the mule takes refuge in the
church while the ass takes refuge in the blood. The mule has
"no seed" in him that can be quickened, but the ass has seed.
