Beginning Guitar: Always wanted to play? 6:45 to 7:45 pm - In this beginner course students will learn the most basic
fundamentals of the guitar. Throughout the course students will be taught how to tune the guitar, play notes and chords all through a
series of exercises and songs. This course is ideal for anyone who has wanted to learn to play the guitar. Taught by Kyle Brown, a
graduate of Five Towns College with a degree in Music Education, Kyle has been playing guitar for the past 10 years. He plays on the
music team at his church for youth and regular services. Kyle has taught guitar previously at the Comsewogue Community Education
Program and at Robert Frost Middle School in Deer Park. Limit 10, 8 week session begins 11/18, fee $200. (11/18 – 12/9 with new

BExtraordinary™ -- This is What Helped Me -- Peer Support Group 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm This is a peer support group (not a
counseling session) run by Sarah Jones, a 22 year old college graduate. Your feelings are OK! Check your judgments at the door!
The weekly groups will consist of discussion of issues that impact teenagers every day. It will be an open-discussion and a welcoming,
creative environment. Everyone is welcome to express their feelings without the fear of being judged. Our goal is to learn how to enjoy
every moment and see the beauty in life. We want to create a place where teenagers feel safe. Sarah is not a trained counselor;
however, she has personal experience with dealing with issues that teens face every day. Limit 16, 8 week session begins 11/18,
fee $150.
Have a Teenager? Weekly beginning December 2 8:00 to 9:00 pm: Discussion with other parents of teenagers, the
difficulties that are sometimes faced, how / if we made it through; a group to “vent” the frustrations of present day teenage
parenthood. Stacy Iberger, teacher and parent will run a discussion / support group. Stacy has found it helps her to talk about her
experiences with other parents and knows others will feel the same. No topic is taboo. NOTE: This is not a counseling session.
Donation is $15, a portion of which will be donated to a suicide / depression awareness organization.

held positions in the business arena for thirty years. He has been focused for the last ten years in positions that have honed his
presentation skills. Six years ago he joined Toastmasters and has quickly earned the highest educational designation. Fee for the 3

Scrap Booking: Begins 11/20- 12 classes - 7:00 to 9:00 pm Cindy Moran is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor
Degree in Fine Art. She is also a passionate and seasoned scrap booker and a certified teacher will be guiding us through creating 32
page scrap books, 2-4 pages per night. Craft scissors, lesson plans and examples will be provided. You’re not just doing it, you’re
learning how and lots of art skills, too! FEE: $15 / class, $180 for series. Materials will be an additional fee, or we will let you know
what to buy if you want to purchase your own.
Always Wanted to Be a Comic? Comedy class will consist of five 2-hour workshops … and then a Show! 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Sessions will include Comedy Writing, Developing your jokes, Empowering yourself using comedy, “Clean Comedy” bits, Comedy
performance, Working on your stage presence, and presentation. Learn the business of comedy and how to continue your comedy
once class ends. Learn Improv comedy, MCing and how to host an event. Participants will also have the opportunity to do a podcast
interview on comedytogoradio. Every week will have a special guest in a specific area of comedy. It's not just comedy – this
program is about improving your quality of life and the lives of those around you. Every student will get a diploma and an
opportunity to perform at the graduation show with others from the class along with seasoned comics. The class will be taught and

Natural Drummer who has been playing over the past decade. John makes it easy for anyone to play by making it fun to learn. In 30
minutes you could be joining a group of other new players and making music. John will be bringing an assortment of drums including
the Djembe, Conga, Cajon, and the Doumbek. Use one of his or bring your own! Sign up today to have some fun and learn a little bit
about drumming and one of the earliest forms of communication. FEE: $10. We are planning on having this as a monthly

during Thursday craft programs! Mary Sclafani, co-creator of Time to Play’s Bescential™ line (because everyone is essential!) and
owner of A Scent from the Heart and I Need a Favor Party Favors will always come up with exciting crafts for you to make!

our attempts to help each other! This group is here to help and support one another in attempts at weight loss. Hey, we’ve all been
there and sometimes continue to struggle. Club Program Leader is Gayle Capozzi who loves to cook. She has, and still struggles
daily, with her weight and the addiction of food for over 20 years. Each week she plans to bring in a healthy food item to share. Gayle
is not a counselor, just a person who needs support and can offer support to others – part of the Time to Play mission of people helping
people. Weekly donation $5 to help defray healthy snack costs and other expenses.

workshop is the perfect lead-in to one of the Club Time To Play™ 8 week Theatre Acting workshops. Discover the basics of acting for
the theatre. Have fun and build confidence through the use of acting games, improvisation, scene study, body movement/voice,

This two day introduction workshop is the perfect lead in to one of the Club Time To Play 8 week On-Camera Acting workshops.
Discover the basics of tv commercials, tv sitcom/drama scenes and film lingo. Have fun and build confidence through the use of
commercial copy, learning how to perform a scene from a popular tv show and practice film technique with the use of a camera and
instant play back on a small screen. Be ready for our new and exciting on camera acting workshops in 2014 and receive a 10%

Tarot, My Way. Michael K. Waterman has read Tarot Cards since 1972. He has created his own spread which has proven to be very
accurate. In this course he will discuss the tarot. Participants will go one by one over each card and Michael will explain how he
interprets them and how they relate to other cards. Michael will discuss the symbolism of the cards and provide a brief history. The
class will be using the Rider deck simply because it's been proven to be the easiest to teach with. The course will be (7) weeks of one

Designing Your Face Program Leader is Michael K. Waterman, co-creator of BExtraordinary™ and Time to Play Professional.
Program will include learning the right coloring contouring shapes and how to choose the right products to get your look perfect for you
or a client. The program will also cover primer foundations, shadows, blush, bronzers, lip color, liners (eyes & lips) and how to use the
right products to get the best look for you. We will create 3 looks: Daytime, Work and a “hot night” look. Michael has over 35 years
experience in makeup and beauty. In1989 he was honored to join the exclusive team of skin care and make-up professionals at the
world famous Georgette Klinger Spas. This is a 4 week program / course, and you will be able to make money doing makeup
applications. 4 week session $300
