How can I access ÕIS if I do not have the ID card
yet ?
Information System Office- location SOC-132
Step 1
Turn to Dean´s Office to ask if you already have a student
code in ÕIS.
Step 2
If you have student code available then visit Information System
Office.
Bring along identification Document and you will
immediately be issued individuaal username and password.
Access to ÕIS with ID/TRP card
• Once you have received ID (TRP) card, kindly visit
International Student Center U03-211 A
• ID (TRP) card contains personal code which is unique
• International Student Center will insert the code to the
Study Info System (ÕIS)
• Only if the ID code is inserted to ÕIS can student access it
with ID (TRP) card
• Only if the ID code is inserted to ÕIS can student apply for
scholarships

Try to declare subjects (until the deadline indicated in ÕIS
it is possible to withdraw submitted declaration and
resubmit it again)

• Weeks are distributed odd and even, in total there are 16
weeks.
Numbers added to the programme abbreviation indicate the
semester subject is being taught:
• nr 11- first year Autumn semester
• nr 21- first year Spring semester
• nr 31- second year Autumn semester
Registering for a course in ÕIS
• At the beginning of each semester all students must submit
a study plan
• if the study plan is not submitted student will be dismissed
• the study plan is submitted via study information system
(ois.ttu.ee)
• study plan (declaration) must be submitted latest on the
indicated dedline in Academic Calendar

PS! In some cases, a lecturer has a right to cancel the declartion made by

Registering for a course in ÕIS

What do to if declaration deadline has passed and you
have forgotten to submit one?
Turn to Dean´s office immediately and they will help you with
the declaration.
In addition, please:
• make sure that you declare at least 22.5 credit points (you
need to count the ECTS in ÕIS yourself)
• make sure that subject code and professor´s name is correct
Should you have any questions, please turn to your Dean´s
office to ask for a help.
Students who are studying on the tuition fee places
must sign a contract in Dean´s office

Study regulation- examination sessions
• 2 terms in 1 academic year- Autumn and Spring
• 1 term consists 16 weeks of classroom and practical study
Examination session in the end of semester
• Autumn semester examination sessioon (2nd- 23nd of January
2016)
• Autumn semester additional examination session (25th of
January- 30th of January 2016)
Study regulation- student code
• every student has its unique student number
• this number is necessary to identify you in the system ( ÕIS)
• you need the student code to write on all applications, tests and
other papers that are handed in at/in the university

Study plan consists:

nominal study load per term or the capacity of study
according to the curriculum per term is 30 European credit
points (ECTS).
Student may hold a full-time or partial load
•
Full-load study requires that a student collect at least 22.5
ECTS on a CUMULATIVE basis under the individual study
plan by the end of each academic year for each term
attended
PS! This is important for BSc and MSc students to maintain free of charge place.
•
Partial- study load requires that a student collect at least
15-22 ECTS on a CUMULATIVE basis under the individual
study plan by the end of each academic year for each
semester attended.
PS! From 2015/2016 it is mandatory for everyone to collect at least 15 ECTS on
the first semester.
Study regulations- declaration of exams and final
tests
• declaration of a subject is valid only 1 semester
• if a student has not passed the subject within 1 semester
time a new declaration in ÕIS must be submitted
• second time declaration in ÕIS is only for the fee- an invoice
will be issued via ÕIS
• fee depends on the credit point price
• prices may vary depending on the faculty

• at least 2 exam times within the exam session
• exam times are published at least 4 weeks before the start of
the exam weeks
• before the first exam there has to be at least one consultation
• the time and place of which is published with exam times
