Tan Tao is a newly established, not-for-profit private university, located west of Ho Chi
Minh City, Vietnam. TTU is committed to higher education following the Western model,
conducted at a high international standard. Teaching of all subjects is in English. The
university will provide full scholarships to talented Vietnamese students from all
provinces and backgrounds upon competitive admission – regardless of means. These
scholarships – which are renewable subject to performance - cover 100% tuition, food,
and accommodation. Whilst the first intakes of students have been for undergraduates,
TTU will evolve into a graduate and research-oriented university. TTU actively supports
faculty development and research, and we seek professors to help build the institution.
All levels are considered: Assistant Professors preferred. An earned doctorate from a
reputable institution is essential. Three-year contracts, with review after one year.
Twelve hour teaching load with two preparations. Research support available. Foreign
faculty receive a home expenses allowance in addition to salary. The package includes
health insurance, airfare allowance, and housing at special rates.
