President Monty Sullivan
Producing more college graduates isn’t just
good for students and society.
It’s also good for business.
Single Stop increasingly affects the bottom line of its
community college partners.
Increased retention yields healthier families and stronger communities but it also creates value for public and private
stakeholders, and generates revenue for colleges.

Typical costs and financing strategies.
Single Stop works with its college partners to develop localized plans for launching, financing and ultimately
institutionalizing “Single Stop” services.
Phase one – Single Stop
works with college
partners to offset start-up
costs
Phase two – Increased
focus on integration and
internal scale. Impact data
helps colleges to assume
increasing ownership
Typical partnership costs:
~$150k per site for Single Stop Services
~$150k per site to operate on-the-ground services
Phase three – Complete
Integration and
sustainability =
membership
It’s all connected…
To do well in school you need food and shelter.
To provide for your family you need a good job.
And you can’t get a good job unless you have an education.
