What attracted you to Orange Coast College?
“Its location in Southern California, great weather all year long, huge campus, and mix of cultures from
all over the world.”
What’s your favorite thing about going to school here?
“All of my instructors are well qualified with great educational backgrounds. I also love the way we can
create our own schedule, which means taking our knowledge to levels we never thought possible.”
Do you have a favorite class/ professor here?
“I love all of my classes, even though I find them quite hard and have to study a lot. My teachers are nice
and I would love to have the opportunity to work with them in the future.
What do you think about OCC’s campus?
“It’s a big campus full of life. I love the architecture and how clean it looks, plus all the nature
surrounding the buildings. It’s fun how sometimes I walk around campus and get to see the cutest little
squirrels around me. I just love it.”

I was looking for a strong Architectural Department, plus the professors are very helpful and
knowledgeable in their fields.
What’s your favorite thing about going to school here?
“I love the people, the International Center, and strong academic programs. I also love the area. People
are nice here and the weather is perfect year-round.”

“The freedom to choose your classes and schedule.”
“The International Center helped me a lot, always keeping me informed about events and other things
related to me. And always smiles from the friendly staff.”

“I’ve always dreamed of studying in an American college. OCC has been the best choice. It’s an amazing
school. Professors are highly knowledgeable. There are a large number of majors and considerable
transfer programs which allow students to transfer to the most prestigious universities in the state. OCC
is helping me achieve my goals.”

“I would recommend OCC - lots of classes and options. The professors are very kind and understanding
toward international students.”

“Studying outside Vietnam is a great opportunity for me to experience new things and to see
the cultural differences between two countries. The United States was my number one choice
when I decided to study aboard since it is known as a country with a wonderful learning system
that can help you succeed in your career.”
What attracted you to OCC?
“The fact that they just rebuilt the library in the year that I came; everybody seems so friendly;
and it looks fun just to be here.”
What’s your favorite thing about going to school here?
“I love our staff here - they are always willing to help, always happy to answer questions and
assist me. The best thing is that they are nice and make you feel like they are your second
family.”
What do you think about OCC’s campus?
“Enormously beautiful, unlike any schools that I have been to in my country. It gives you a
comfortable environment when you are far away from your home.”

“Big campus and lots of majors and programs. I was interested in the Nutrition program. Plus, friendly
professors who are very sincere to the students.”
What do you think about OCC’s campus?
“It’s huge! Brand new library and buildings. New classrooms and equipment.”

What’s your favorite thing about going to school here?
“Blending with people from various nations is the most exciting, and having classes with native speakers.
The International Center staff helped me from beginning to end. Since I was new to America and to
college life, I did not know what I should do, but the staff patiently helped me with all my issues.”
What do you think about OCC’s campus?
“I really love studying at OCC. I’m proud of this college. All the facilities and services provided are of
great quality, such as free tutoring, the library, and the International center.”
“OCC will absolutely affect me in the future. The things that I am learning at OCC will be an
accumulation of thoughts and ideas. The experience of college life encourages me and will lead to a
better future.”
