Week 9/14 – 9/18/15 9/14 warm-up 1. ¿Qué día es hoy? 2. ¿Cuál es la fecha? 3. ¿Qué tiempo hace? Create a seasonal calendar: 1. Use the season that includes your birthday. 2. Write the days of the week in Spanish for each month beginning with lunes. 3. Write the date (spelled out in Spanish) for your birthday and the dates for 2 holidays that fall in that season. 4. Use your planner for this school year to put the dates in the right place. 5. Write a different weather phrase (in Spanish) for each month and draw a picture to represent that type of weather. 6. Label the season in Spanish at the top of your seasonal calendar. 7. Write sentences on the back describing the dates, the weather, the days of the week, and the season. Ex: a. Mi cumpleaños es el veintiseis de julio. b. El lunes es el seis de Julio. c. Hace calor en el verano. 8. Introduce yourself in Spanish: Me llamo … (write this sentence on the back) 9/15 1. Write down 3 questions in Spanish that you could ask your partner about his/her calendar? 2. Ask your partner the 3 questions you wrote down? 3. Answer the 3 questions in Spanish that your partner asks you. Turn in calendar after Mrs. Dizzine hears your questions and your answers. 9/16 1. Finish asking and answering questions about calendars. Answer the following in English: (you may use your electronic device to find info) 2. Write down the name of a famous Hispanic. 3. How do you know this person is famous? 4.
