Our National
PIF House Program
National PIF House Program
• In 2012 the industry generously donated funds and in-kind services to
refurbishing PIF House #1 in Redfern given by the City of Sydney.
• The Foundation contributed $250,000 in cash, City of Sydney donated that
plus more external building works, and the industry kindly donated goods and
services valued over $300,000.
• The house now accommodates 6 young people who were once living on our
streets and are now studying or working in a job.
NSW PIF House Program
• In 2014 the NSW funds raised through this campaign went towards PIF
House Dundas in Western Sydney; Wesley Mission will be our Charity Partner.
• In these 2 houses – 24 rooms in total, the young people are taught basic
living skills such as budgeting, cooking, hygiene and cleaning to take their next
step back into society and independent living.
• The highest fundraisers of the 2014 NHH Campaign were awarded with the
opportunity to brand a room. These winners were;
•Investa Property Group
- $80,000
•Goodman International
- $80,000
•Westpac Group Property
- $33,545
•Parkview Group
- $26,500
Where the money will go in 2015?
• NSW - Funds raised through this campaign will go towards our PIF
House Program
• VIC - Funds raised will provide ongoing support for the Lighthouse
Foundation's therapeutic care program within Victoria’s first PIF House.
This program will create a warm and caring environment to help nurture
and shape the future of young people living in this home.
• QLD - Funds will go towards the inaugural QLD PIF House which will
provide homeless young people with, not only a safe place to live, but
also a home environment where they will be able to learn lifestyle skills to
re-enter society and help prepare for them to find a job.

We work in a great industry and May 28 is our chance to give something back. There are
thousands of homeless kids doing it tough, probably tougher and harder than we can
imagine. The Property Industry Foundtion's National Hard Hat day is our chance to give
an hour or so of our pay to give these kids a fair go. I will certainly be donating and I urge
you to do the same.
I have signed up Jones Lang LaSalle as a participating company. If you wish to
contribute to this worthy cause simply click on the button of your choice above and
our payroll team will deduct the amount from your pay at the end of June 2004, just in time
to claim it in this financial year.
However you decide to donate, and whatever you contribute, the kids will appreciate your
fundraising effort. Give something back to the community as an individual, as part of our company, and as part of
our industry.
