Naviance is a College and Career Readiness platform that helps connect academic achievement to postsecondary goals. Its comprehensive college and career planning solutions helps students:
 assess their personality type
 record their achievements and honors

MEChA de UCSD-24th Annual High School Conference

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA) is a student organization that promotes higher
education, cultura, and historia. This conference is a great opportunity to meet and bond with college
students who have overcame struggles in order to achieve college success. This is a one day conference
filled with inspirational speakers, cultural entertainment, and workshops on topics such as social issues,

you credits.
Attention 12th Grade Families!
SENIORS: In order to ensure accuracy of your diploma please fill out the Diploma Order Form available
HERE. Per the directions on the form please PRINT your legal name and PRINT the name that you would
like to appear on your diploma (please keep in mind that diplomas are official documents). This form
MUST be turned in to Mrs. Meyer in the records office by no later than February 10, 2014.
Financial Aid Season is in full swing. Fill out your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
today! Deadline is March 2nd. Every single college bound senior should be filling out this financial aid
form regardless of income or whether or not you are headed to a 4 year university, community college,

Cal Grant GPA Verification
Mt. Carmel High School automatically submits Senior Cal Grant GPA Verifications electronically for all
Seniors. The California Student Aid Commission links GPAs with a student’s Social Security number.
Hence, MCHS seniors will be notified if we do not have their social security number on file and directed
how to submit.
