JOB DESCRIPTION
For
Direct Marketing Analyst
Responsible to:
Head of Direct Marketing
Main Purpose of Job:
As part of the fundraising team provide the Director of Fundraising, Head of Direct Marketing and
the wider team with timely analysis reports of all campaign activity utilising the Charity’s business
systems and provide support to the Fundraising Data Officer in implementing developments of the
supporter database, Alms.net.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:









Support the Fundraising Data Officer by setting up campaign codes and costs within the
Alms.net database.
Assist the Fundraising Data Officer with implementation of Alms.net developments and new
builds
Prepare direct marketing analysis reports for distribution to all levels of management –
including bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Initiate and maintain quarterly Report Analysis Meetings providing more detailed analysis to
the DM team
Work with the DM team to help monitor donor recruitment and retention levels
To support the Head of Direct Marketing in reporting on attrition rates, lifetime value of
donors and ROI
Collation and production of detailed project plans in support of Direct Marketing appeals
Initiate and maintain fundraising database of case studies in support of Direct Marketing
appeals
Provide assistance with strategic DM Activity and budget planning
Other duties and responsibilities:
To undertake other job-related tasks as directed by the Head of Direct Marketing, which may include
representing charity at Trade Shows and other events across the UK.

environment are reduced as low as reasonably practicable
 To raise any health and safety concerns with your Line Manager or the Health & Safety Officer
based at Head Office
