A functioning corpus luteum would be present at Z, when both estrogen and progesterone are present m. The triplets may have come from a single egg. Identical triplets are formed by a single egg splitting. If the triplets were fraternal, three separate corpus lutei, indicating three eggs, may have been found. n. & o. Answers will vary.
