Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Liftboats HSE Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
















Provides administrative and clerical support to the HSE Manager, GOM Liftboats & HSE Specialist
to include but not limited to the following:
Prepare PowerPoint Presentations for meetings when required
Records minutes for Liftboats HSE and Leadership meetings as well as other meetings when
required
Process Prescription Safety Glasses request
Track department’s vacation and days out
Provide assistance with travel for the department
Modify HSE information on HERO Home when requested
Monitor HSE department telephone calls
Occasionally arrange meetings and/or conference call for the HSE department
Provide assistance to other administrative staff or employees of Hercules Offshore when requested
Administer Crane Operator License issuance program while working with the Marine Coordinators
and HR to verify medical physical, and classification levels
Enter HSE data (e.g. HERO observations, incident data, man hours, etc.) into HERO Home and
HERO Tracker while working with vessels and other departments (e.g. payroll) to obtain
information
Enter data into MS Access and run reports while distributing to internal and external customers
(e.g. HSE Meetings, Emergency Drills, Incident trending / classification – type, etc.)
IS Networld & PEC premier administrator of incident data, management systems documents
uploaded, insurance certificates for all clients
Schedule Safety / Training new hire orientation training for new hires
Maintain various files for the HSE department (e.g. timesheets, OSHA logs, annual reports, etc.)
Qualifications:








At least 5 plus year’s experience in the administrative field
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VISIO and Outlook
Ability to work indipently and with minimal direction
Effective team player
Speed writing or short hand skills for meeting note recording
Professional customer service skills
Profssional and courteous telephone answering skills
Keywording skills of 65 wpm a plus
