This course also examines the global business climate and explores the impact of technological advances, deregulations, and globalization on trade and business. The opportunities and challenges of doing business across national frontiers will be covered. This course examines multinational and transnational corporations as well as their activities in sourcing and operating in multiplied jurisdictions. The course looks at the modes of entry into foreign markets - direct investments, portfolio investments, and other collaborative efforts. The course also covers topics on issues of trade liberalization versus restrictions, and the institutional environment fostering trade. . III.
