Flip Cards – Grade 9 Academic Science (Ecology)
One option to practice recall for a test or exam is Flip Cards. Cards may be
effective as a study tool when a number of facts or definitions must be
memorized.
The following information is a set of Power Point electronic Flip Cards for the
Grade 9 Academic Science Ecology Unit. To “run” the cards, use the
dropdown “Slide Show” menu and, if appropriate, click “View Show.” Each
definition has a blue background. It is followed by the corresponding answer
on a green background. To go to the next screen, you simply push return.
The “End Show” button at the bottom of the screen stops the program.
Another option is to simply scroll through the cards.
If Flip Cards work for you (i.e., you learn the definitions via this tool), you may
wish to make your own cards for the other science units.
Have fun…engage and learn.
