My name is Andre Broessel, I'm a German architect living in Barcelona and I´d like to introduce you to my revolutionary solar project we´re working on. We all know that the sun is the greatest sustainable energy source available to us on earth. For more than 40 years, Technology has helped to transform this source into electric and heating power. The problem is low efficiency: the vast majority of PhotoVoltaic panels worldwide have a performance of just 15% or lower; and if the panels aren´t tracking the movement of the sun in the sky, there are further losses of 40% during the year. I am convinced that this problem has to be fixed and that “We can squeeze more juice out of the sun.” That's the reason why I created Rawlemon. By combining spherical geometry principals with our dual axis tracking system, Rawlemon can reach up to 70% yield surplus compared to a conventional PV panel, when both are placed in vertical set-up. This allows for Rawlemon products to be integrated anywhere and everywhere. At the same time, we reduce the cell surface to 1%, which offers a revolutionary perspective on producing sustainable and low cost energy. Rawlemon is able to concentrate diffuse light. From economical point of view, this is a unique opportunity to produce solar energy where conventional systems fail. Our goal is twofold: to give us ample marketing opportunities for our alternative solar energy technology, and a sufficient lead time to launch a revolutionary architectural system for buildings which will be energy independent and generate surplus energy at the same time. The Microtrack is able to produce energy in facades and assure 99% of transparency. It could be installed as a building skin, producing energy during the day and as a multimedia support during the night. We believe in producing energy where people actually live; in our cities. And we will do this without sacrificing beauty, the transparency of a window, or a comfortable living environment. We want it to be democratic. With your help we will be able to engage a revolution in the renewable energy sector: a new way to produce energy and to reduce the impact of climate change on our planet. Our current invention, and the proposed design project Beta.ey, is aimed to minimize the footprint even renewable energies leave on our environment. Through innovation and great design, we want to create energy in a way that provides for our future, rather than compromising it. You think you´ve heard all this before. Futuristic solar energy systems which will provide unlimited power. Well, we’ve been working on truly efficient concentrated solar energy for over 3 years now. The Beta.ey that you see here reflects is the smallest prototype we have designed. In a few weeks we will reach the final step of the prototype. The Beta.ey will serve to fund us in order to release our main goal: the design and development of smart, autonomous and efficient solar generators, bringing forward the goal for renewable energies and balancing the emissions we leave in our environment. Be a pioneer and bring the Beta.ey worldwide as a solar cellphone charger and desktop lamp. You will also be part of the beginnings of a new revolution we´ve called “The Positive Climate Change”. As we're close to entering production, your contribution will help fund: - Production tooling - Large component order - Global certifications - Continuing the development of our next products; such as the MicroTrack, a building integrated solar generator for our cities.
