More focus is on comprehension monitoring, assessment, idiomatic and figurative language and critical thinking tasks. Communicative activities are considered in discussing purpose, and giving opinion. Comprehensive questions and exercises are applicable. Course objectives: 1) To train students to read skillfully. 2) To improve students ability to understand long passages and articles. 3) To enable students to think critically and to relate themes of different paragraphs of a topic. 4) To check students language competence in understanding question and in forming answers.
