align entire arm in the same place
Center mid elbow to center of IR.

Placement: extend arm fully,

Supernate the hand.
Rotate the entire arm and body laterally until a 45 degree
obtained with epi-cdondyles


•Cassette Size: 11 x14 or 14x 17
•Divided in half LW
The AP view 
• Placement: straighten the entire forearm
•supinate the hand.
• Drop the shoulder so the entire arm is on the same
plain.
•Center forearm to the center of cassette.
• Must Include both joints.

•The entire forearm along with both joints
•The radial head, neck tuberosity should be
imposed by the ulna
•The humeral epi-condyles in profile
The Lateral…
• Flex the elbow 90 degrees and center the forearm
to film.
•Turn the thumb up to ensure true lateral of the
wrist.
•Place the entire upper arm in the same plane
•You will turn cassette to match the finger
placement
