Approval of minutes from 5/14/15 Program Director’s Report CRT Statistics: Class of 2012 – 18/19 = 94.7% (one person never attempted the exam) Class of 2013 – 24/24 = 100% Class of 2014 - 22/22 = 100% Class of 2015 – 18/19 = 94.7% (one has not attempted) CRT not enough any more! Program Director’s Report RRT Statistics: Class of 2012 – 17/19 = 89.5% Class of 2013 – 19/24 = 79.2% Class of 2014 – 19/22 = 86.4% Class of 2015 – 15/19 so far = 78.9% Total – 70/84 = 83.3% New exam – TMC – two cut scores Most faculty members have taken the new exams Curriculum update Continuing project: updating all courses. Consider starting clinical earlier. Might have first year students do an observation day this semester. Wayne will discuss further. Student Learning Outcomes – SLOs, PLOs, ILOs… assessment and reporting. Admissions Prereqs are currently; Chemistry, Elem. Algebra, Anatomy, Physio, Microbiology Changing to Intermediate Algebra Priority given for Physics Plan to work with the other NorCal RT Programs to validate prerequisites, including a pre-admission test such as TEAS-A BSRT Skyline and Modesto will offer BSRTs Skyline plans to start first Cohort Fall 2016 Hope for a mix of new grads and experienced RTs Hybrid model with full online offered in future Admissions will begin in January for fall Distance Education update Videoconferencing system failure Repaired but still not reliable Did not accept the 6 SRJC-based students for this fall, will continue distance ed with continuing students Would like to increase marketing to SRJC students so we still cover that area Director of Clinical Education: report Spring/Summer 2015 report Specialty rotations started earlier Considering sending first semester students out for an observation day in Nov-Dec.
