Preface Purpose: This document provides a general view of technologies currently offered and supported at Algonquin College. The technology environment at Algonquin, like other academic institutions, is continually evolving. Many other tools are used by specific departments and individual faculty members. Blackboard (Learning Management System) Virtual Classroom Space PURPOSE OF TOOL An online extension of a regular classroom or the learning environment for fully online courses. This online space can support learning resources, communication, student collaboration, and evaluation.
