Macbeth
The Project
What you will do


Your mission, should you choose to accept
it (and you’d better!)….
Create a storyboard for Macbeth with at
least 10 original images (your original
artwork).



You should have 2 images per act (5 acts x 2
images = 10).
• Present images in the order they would
appear in the play.
• Next to each image, include:

A properly cited passage (Act and Scene) from
the play that explains the action depicted in the
image.


A brief summary or explanation of the scene.
• Six of your ten images must be a labeled
example of:







o Exposition
o Exciting Force
o Rising Action
o Climax
o Falling Action
o Catastrophe
All images, quotes and descriptions should be
mounted cleanly and securely on a poster board.


Be prepared to give a brief presentation of your
finished storyboard on the due date.
What I will look for while grading:






• Quality
• 10 original images
• Appropriate quotes for each image
• Accurate summaries / explanations for each image
• Clean presentation
• Effort
Extra Credit



I will give up to 5 extra points for each
image you include beyond the minimum 10.
These images must be included on your
poster board. 5 extra images is the limit (for
a maximum of 25 extra points).
Good Luck!
Homework Tonight

Chose a scene from Act II or III and rewrite
it using modern slang, being careful to
retain Shakespeare's purpose.
