HOTEL ACCOMODATION
Participants should make their own hotel reservation. The workshop and the SCIP meetings will take
place at the Hotel Hesperia Cordoba. Reservations can be made at www.hesperia.es. If you prefer
to stay at a different hotel, there is an ample offer in Córdoba. In case you have any question or
find a difficulty, please contact abp@csn.es.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
The city of Córdoba is located approximately 400 Km south of Madrid. The quickest way to get to
Córdoba is to take the high speed train (called AVE) either from Madrid or from Sevilla to
Córdoba. The trip takes 1 hour and 45 minutes from Madrid and 45 minutes from Sevilla (140
Km). Train information and ticket reservation can be made at www.renfe.es. Information on
transportation to Córdoba by bus from different places can be found at www.socibus.es.
The Hesperia Córdoba Hotel is located at the riverside, close to the Roman Bridge and opposite to
the Mezquita on the other side of the river. Directions on how to get to the hotel, as well as other
information, can be obtained at www.hesperia-cordoba.com. The distance from the AVE station to
the hotel is probably excessive for walking (a good half an hour at least). Public transport (bus
or taxi) is advisable.
