Plant Manufacturing Engineer
Mueller Co., the industry leader in the manufacturing of cast iron water valves and pipe
repair products has an immediate opening for a Plant Manufacturing Engineer in Cleveland, TN.
The successful candidate should have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least
5 years experience in heavy manufacturing. This position will serve as the sole plant engineer in a
plant of 100 employees. Responsibilities will include new product development, troubleshooting,
CNC machining, and project work. The ideal candidate should be familiar with CNC programming,
FANUC controls, machine design, failure analysis, design for manufacturing, engineering control
systems, robotic welding, AutoCAD, and plant layout.
Candidate must be self-motivated and innovative in suggesting and implementing process
improvement and cost reduction projects. In addition, the candidate must possess mechanical
aptitude, excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational
levels.
