Qualified Structural Engineer required for Consultancy Practice in Tauranga.
Potential for business ownership. A great opportunity for an experienced and
ambitious Structural Engineer.
Our company is a well established small Structural Engineering Consultancy in
Tauranga, having covered a wide range of structural design services for 29 years.
We are looking for an Engineer to join our team, with a view to taking over ownership
of the business. Both current owners are approaching retirement age and are willing
to stay on as employees of the business for a year or more, to provide guidance and
support to the new Engineer.
The ideal candidate for the position will have the following attributes:




Currently or approaching CPEng status
Experience in the design of residential, industrial and commercial buildings
A sound knowledge of New Zealand design codes and standards
Good verbal and written communication skills
The variety of work includes:



Design of new structures
Seismic analysis and strengthening of existing buildings
Liaison with and reporting directly to clients
The work environment at our offices is very pleasant, and located close to the CBD.
