Indalex Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator for its
Modesto, CA location. This entry-level position will be responsible for all
Environmental, Health and Safety policies and practices. The successful individual will also be responsible for: Leading “Critical 6” safety teams -Ensuring adherence to all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures -Conducting routine audits -
Reviewing and communicating new and innovative safety practices -Ensuring the proper completion of incident investigations -Determining root causes of incidents -
Creating and conducting training for field and management personnel -Initiating programs to reduce overall incident rates AND -Participating as a key contributor to the management team at the facility. Incumbent should possess very strong communication and computer skills; knowledgeable of California’s health, safety and environmental standards, and be willing to learn about injury case management and
California’s workers compensation laws.
