This project will be installed at Kolkata National Medical College and Hospital as
a pilot project and to be implemented in all the Hospitals in West Bengal in near future.

The Project:
The project involves developing an on-line and totally integrated Personnel
Information System with Pay Package that can reduce the duplicacy of work and
ensure ready availability of personnel information from ‘Recruitment' to 'Settlement of
Final Accounts' including the sub-modules like 'Reward',' Punishment', 'Training',
'Proceeding', 'Suspension', 'Pension’, Morning Report' etc. at any point of time. The
system has elaborate security features to make sure that only authorized users are
accessing the database. The running system is not hampered at all and all the existing
data have been ported into the system. A unique codification system is developed
so that all the 47 Reserve Offices located various parts of West Bengal will be
connected in near future.


Interacted with the end-users up to the level Additional Director General of Police
to finalize the requirement of the Battalions and Head Quarters. Reported the
status of weekly progress to the members of Task Force. Acted as on-site cocoordinator. Documented the User’s Manual.

This project consists of Indent, Purchase, and Store module. It deals with raising
Purchase Requisition, Enquiry
Quotation Analysis & Orders, Receipts, Inspection,
Rejection, and Issue etc. The system keeps the current stock Position of items in
the Inventory. A lot of MIS like Project-wise Material Procurement Status, Vendor
Rating, Lead Time Analysis etc. are provided. FSN, SDE & VED Analysis have been
developed to help in bringing practical solution to the problem of controlling inventory. It
gives reports like non-moving item report, Re-order level
report
etc. It also
generates final inventory after calculating average rate. The codification of 52,000
(app.) items has been done in this project.
