Objective:
By the end of the lesson each student will be able to orally identify the names of common classroom objects and express that item’s function.

Rationale for Lesson Based Upon Student Data:
ELL students struggle with the function of much of the vocabulary particularly the word “used”. Often they leave off the /d/.
