The University of Huddersfield Postgraduate
Conference for History, Heritage and Historic
Archaeology, Friday 10th July 2015.
We are pleased to announce a call for papers for the University of Huddersfield’s
History, Heritage and Historic Archaeology Postgraduate Conference 2015. The
conference offers an interdisciplinary opportunity for postgraduate students and
early career researchers in these fields to share their research at Huddersfield, a
department renowned for its supportive atmosphere and sociability.
We welcome proposals for papers of no more than 20 minutes in any field of
historical, heritage, and historical archaeological research, or a panel of two or more
speakers. Early stage postgraduate students will also have the opportunity to share
their research in progress through poster presentations.
Please forward proposals, including an abstract of 250 words with participants’
names and paper titles by e-mail to H3.Conference@hud.ac.uk . The deadline for
submissions is Friday 5th June, and notification of acceptance will be sent by Friday
19th June. A small number of postgraduate travel bursaries are available to speakers
by application to the above e-mail address. Papers from the conference will be
eligible for submission to the peer reviewed journal Postgraduate Perspectives on the
