What Is User Experience (UX)?
User Experience is a pointed way of looking a your digital products and services from the perspective of
Business and Customer value. In this short 2-minute video we provide an explanation to the question

Course Agenda
Each day includes an introduction to UX including definitions, Multi-Screen world, UX Landscape,
Agile/UX Process, Contemporary and Lean UX, Case Studies, Philosophy and more to
accommodate students who choose particular days above the entire course.
Day1: Introduction to UX, Research Methods, Practicals & Group Exercises
Introduction to the 20-research methods available, how they relate, where to start and practical
application in using the top 5/6 – A.H.I.C.U.P - Affinity Diagrams, Interviews, Card Sorting, User Journey
& Personas.
Day2: Introduction to UX Design, Heuristics, Design Tools – Balsamiq & Axure
The explanations of 35+ UX design Best Practices, sharpie sketching, paper prototyping, the design
studio and creating wireframes and prototypes using the Balsamic and Axure RP Pro design tools.
Day3: Introduction to UX, The Workshop Process – “Creative Catalyst”
An introduction to Concept Workshopping using the “Creative Catalyst” Process of Problem, Customer,
Persona, Journey, Functionality, Design Studio and finally MVP (Minimal/Maximum Viable Product).

Bernard Schokman, Principal
