Objectives -- At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

Understand the data in support of therapeutic hypothermia and the value of recent
studies that further describe applications and adverse effects.
Be aware of some of the key practical aspects in developing a therapeutic hypothermia
protocol.
Learn how to troubleshoot specific patient conditions during the therapeutic hypothermia
process.
Gain knowledge of the resources available to help during development and
implementation of a therapeutic hypothermia program.

The Altoona Regional Health System is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for
physicians.
The Altoona Regional Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of six (6) credit hours American Medical
