Physician Associate - Urology Department
Under the direct supervision of a physician, provides diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive
health care services. Provides a broad spectrum of comprehensive medical services, treating
patients with physical ailments, which range from superficial injuries to acute medical disorders.
Case mix complexity consists primarily of routine cases in a structured environment with ample
supervision.
Responsibilities include:










Assessing patient’s health by obtaining medical histories
Performing physical examinations
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
Developing and implementing management plans
Assisting physicians during medical procedures
Performing therapeutic procedures
Counseling patients and families regarding prescribed therapeutic regimens
Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
Participating in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Handling other related duties as assigned
Experience:

Candidate must have at least 2 years of surgical experience as First Assist.
