We wrote our weekend news, greeted classmates,
said the pledge of allegiance, our class promise and
did calendar. We sang our ‘Days’ and ‘Months’
songs, subitized to 1-12 dots, read our popcorn
words, did our ABC chart, sang our vowel song and
reviewed our habits of thinkers. We practiced for
our program. Our kindergartner of the week
shared her poster and we wrote a sentence about
her using interactive writing. We read The Very
Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. We were
introduced to our new poem ‘Little Bird’. We read
The Caterpillar and the Polliwog and did shared
reading. We created subtraction sentences from
our unifix cube towers, hula hoop with noodles and
represented them on a part-part-whole display. We
had literacy workshop.
We did our Tuesday packet. We greeted friends,
said our class promise and did calendar. We
counted to 100 by ones and read our popcorn

shared a science image and wrote a sentence
about her using shared writing. We did shared

practiced for our program. We did literacy
workshop. We had recess. We used our hula/partpart-whole and ‘bears in a cave’ to practice
subtraction with base ten in ‘counters in a cup’.
We did the Wednesday page of our packet. We
greeted one another, said our class promise and
did calendar. We counted to 100 by fives and tens
and read our popcorn words. We did ‘Action
Alphabet’ and practiced for our program. We

kindergartner of the week brought something for
us to estimate and we wrote a sentence about
him using interactive writing. The AM class had
library. We wrote all of our popcorn words and
did our final word spree. We did shared reading
and read The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle.
We sequenced the lines of our poem. We read

thinkers. We wrote a sentence about our
kindergartner of the week using interactive writing
and wrote individual sentences about her. We read A
Nest Full of Eggs and Mr. Egg and determined which
was fiction and which was non-fiction. We did shared
