Internship: Project for Bharti’s Quality Support Program, an education initiative with government schools located in rural areas in India, that aims (1) to empower school leaders and teachers, (2) to empower students, (3) to encourage stakeholder engagement, and (4) to optimize existing infrastructure and facilities in the rural schools. Analyze data collected from the Quality Support Program schools to develop a matrix to measure the effectiveness of the program to date and make recommendations based on the data. Some field work will be required, which involves visiting more rural areas for the day. 2 positions available. Government Technology: Students will work to define what government technology is, best practice from around the world, with the overall aim of changing the mindset of government leaders in the North-East, so that gov tech strategies can be implemented. 2 positions available. TIPS AND TRICKS FOR THE APPLICATION Application: Tailor your essay to the internship to which you’re applying. Not every example you site in your essay should be about a course or one internship. Mix it up. Have your resume reviewed by the Feld Career Center. In writing your essays, remember grammar and spelling count. Interview: Before the interview, do research about the company. Do research about the location. Come with questions that show you’ve done research. Be careful about word choice. (Example: trade unions are not companies) You are interviewing for an internship, not a travel experience. Be ready to talk about how you’ll add value to your internship site.
