Donor Citizen Engagement Board Commmittee
Purpose statement: The Donor and Citizen Engagement Committee will advise the Executive Committee
regarding fundraising strategy for Greater Twin Cities United Way. Such matters include, but are not
limited to, ensuring alignment and attainment of annual and multi-year targets, comprehensive
marketing and branding support, and volunteer engagement. This committee will oversee all aspects of
resource development for the organization.

Giving Community Collaborative
Purpose: to strengthen and simplify the work of all Giving Communities
and Leadership Giving through shared goal development, Giving
Community best practices development and idea sharing, and Giving
Community needs identification – all elevating the ability to create
compelling donor experiences that ultimately result in increased
donations.
Corporate Campaign Strategy Task Force
Purpose: To develop messaging and
strategies to strethen United Way's
promotions of LG/GC to companies

Purpose: To represent the voice of
customer – as a campaign influencer and
as a leadership donor. The Cabinet gives
advice, develops strategies and generates
ideas for easy-to-use tools to increase
leadership giving campaign effectiveness
in compelling leadership givers and
prospects to increase their gifts to United
Way.
