INTRODUCTION:
With the grace and blessing of almighty Allah, MARIFATE WELFARE
ORGANIZATION Astore (Regd) Pakistan (www.marifatwelfare.org) was established
by Dr Sajjad Ali Astori in 2007 for the noble case of the development of humanity
of remote and neglected areas of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.
NEED CONSIDERATION:
“Gilgit Baltistan” is newly born province of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It has two divisions and
seven districts. The population is 100% Muslim. Gilgit is the biggest and capital city of Gilgit
Baltistan by geographically & administratively. The government and the nongovernmental
educational agencies are playing their roles to improve the literacy and the education
standards. The government education department has schools in valleys and villages as well as
in the city but there are very few private organizations which have schools in villages and
valleys rather they are serving in the city only. Beside their valued educational roles, due to the
lack of educational infrastructure, facilities and quality education measures, the parents have to
face the accessibility or the affordability constraints in educating their children. Here easy
access to quality education is impossible for the people residing in the valleys and villages.
In the above summarized educational scenario, the immense need felt to grow the
educational infrastructure, facilities and improve the quality education in the region.
Therefore a nongovernmental agency named Marifate Welfare Organization is
pleased to establish a boarding/day Schools in the different areas of GB.
OUR SERVICES:
Since 2007, we have served students of all races, religions, nationalities, and
levels of academic ability in GB’s Valleys.
1. NC School Hercho Astore
This school is established in village Hercho, the gate way of Astor valley. We have
not sufficient and good School building and infrastructure but we have good
dedicated and talented teaching staff, therefore we could success to produce
good results. The second significant of this academy is that we are providing
quality education with out any discrimination of race, creed, and sect, rich and
poor. Our Moto is not to establish schools for commercial purposes but we want
establish Schools to provide quality education for deprived, neglected, and
hardship people, who are living in remote and faraway from cities.

It is proud to say the second branch of New Century School recently inaugurated
in Badhi Hercho, Astor Valley. This school provides the quality education beside
this it is playing a vital role to minimize the sectarianism in the valley Astor.

NCA Sakwar Gilgit City
It is central and largest project by the MWO.PAK. New Century Academy is an
educational, Marifat Welfare Organization affiliated, boarding/day school
committed to excellence in education and adolescent development in a nonmilitary setting. The mission of NCA is to offer a safe, secure, nurturing
environment for girls and boys to achieve the quality education and it also
provides a structured school program to students in grades Pre Primary-10. Our
curriculum challenges the brightest student and encourages those who are
unmotivated, who are underachieving, or who are experiencing difficulties in their
school setting. New Century Boarding Academy is a non-military and sectarinfree
Marifat Welfare Organization affiliated boarding/day school. Our core beliefs are:
 Deep down inside, all children are good.
 Regardless of academic ability, every child is capable of success.
 All children would rather succeed than fail.
 Once a child gets a taste of success, he or she will want more.
MISSION STATEMENT:
We are committed to ending the plague of isolation, helplessness from those
who are hapless to provide the quality education to their children due to their
low living standard and poverty. It is our mission to produce the equal quality
education chances in the remote and deprive eras of GB.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
New Century Academy is governed by a Board of Directors (sometimes referred to as Board of
Trustees) that is entrusted to manage the business and property of the Academy. By laws
require the Board to be not less than five (5) and no more than twelve (12) members. Onethird of the directors are nominated by the Marifate Welfare Organization (Reg) Pakistan. The
director of the Academy is the direct representative of the Board of Directors in the
management of the Academy, beside that a advisory body consisting by 5-10 prominent
scholars / educationalist keep their eyes on the policy issues of NCA.

FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE:
Financial Aid and Scholarships are available in addition to loan and Charity.
Financial hardship Families can apply for need-based financial aid. New Century
Schools System is working with the Marifat Welfare Organization (Reg) Pakistan
for Your Tuition Solution, who offer loans and aid to qualified applicants.
However, due to limited funds financial aid is not guaranteed to all qualified
applicants. For further information and to obtain an application, please contact
with the office of Marifat Welfare Organization (Reg) Pakistan. Those who donate
and help out the needy and deprive students are not allowed to contact with
students in schools premises, should contact with Welfare offices. Indeed we
need your financial support interim of Students fee and other expenditure. In this
regard Marifat Welfare Organization has permission of collecting and using
religious dues from present Maja- e- Taqleed Ayatullah al Uzma Syed Ali Hussaini
Sistani.
