Veranstalter Gefördert durch Draft: Version 0.1. vom 20.01.2014 Multilateral eTwinning Seminar and International Conference »Remembering the Past and Building the Future together« 24-27 May 2014, Germany, Bonn / Deutsche Welle Background 2014 is not only the year to commemorate the First World World but is the 75th anniversary of the start of the Second World War and it also marks a quarter of a century after the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Obviously, historical anniversaries are a source of inspiration for projects between partner schools. The combined eTwinning seminar and conference aims to initiate and share projects that successfully build a bridge between the past and the future. It addresses the question how to design projects in the field of history and civic education that motivate students in Europe to cooperate and to develop a common vision? The Pedagogical Exchange Service (PAD) gives the opportunity to meet experts in the field of subject didactics and to develop projects with colleagues from different European countries. Target group: Teachers of History and political/social sciences in secondary schools with students aged 14-18 that have some experience in international school projects and are interested in starting eTwinning projects related to history/memory work and civic education.
