Highwayman” Notes: No Book Reports for Regular English Classes this Six Weeks. Instead, students will recite 25 lines of poetry they have chosen from their textbook. Each student has chosen the poem he/she wants to recite. They have also been given their specific dates to be ready. Pre-AP Students have been assigned 25 lines of a poem from the textbook, plus 25 lines of a poem they are writing to memorize. These students have been given a specific date to recite their poems. Pre-AP Students will also need to read a book from the Pre-AP book list and be ready to take their tests the week of April 4 – April 10.
